This actually disappointed me, I have large members of my family and I was looking for a ladder support them getting in and out of my pool. As I want my family to enjoy my pool as well. I expected this ladder to be a little bit more sturdier, when you step on the first step on the outside of the pool the whole thing lifts up. We have sand and water on the inside and that moves very easily didn’t expect that. The treads for the steps are very narrow. My husband weighs about 213 pounds steps on the first step on the outside it’s tips forward .. The whole unit lifts up. Not sure why it is level ... show more

    • Confer Pool Entry System for Above Ground Pool
LOVE! Love ! LOVE! Having disabilities made it difficult to use the a-frame ladder that came with our pool. This system makes it so easy to enter the pool, making pool time so much more enjoyable. I love my pool and now love it more because of the this pool entry system. Some of the directions could have been a bit clearer. Be ready with a screwdriver or power tool and a sharp blade to cut between the railing spindles where needed. All in all, easy to put together. Would buy again. Thanks Confer! ... show more

We used this latter all summer it was great! I had the pool people come and put it together for me and take it down. It's well made and very good for heavy people.

    • Very good for large or elderly swimmers.
A bit expensive. Very sturdy, looks nice. The gate is wonderful. Was easy to put together with two people. Needs sand to hold it down in the water side.

    • Definitely have a mallot, razor for the molded pieces and electric screwdriver
I love these steps. They were difficult to put together but because you can attach them to a deck, you just have to pay attention to the directions to connect the 2 sets of steps to the bridge. It wasn't overly difficult. They are very sturdy and beautifully made. Can't wait until summer!
