    • Surpassed Expectations
These were exactly what we needed for our above ground pool. Once anchored into the deck they didn’t shift around/float like I had feared. We had sand bags on the steps at first, but they wouldn’t sit right and would sometimes fall off. After some time we just got rid of them-don’t need them. The only thing that’s a pain in the butt about this staircase is cleaning/vacuuming behind them. We get algae blooms pretty frequently due to hot temps and the pool being located under some trees (yay pollen) so we clean the pool very often and it can be a chore getting behind/under the stairs. Otherwise, I highly recommend these. I feel so much safer getting in and out and don’t have to worry about kids or older family members getting in and out! ... show more

Great addition for any pool. Wide enough for anyone and easy for kids to use. The hand rails are not super sturdy so might not want a full grown adult putting all their weight on them. Kind of easy to assemble - the instructions do get a little confusing when it comes to the screws and which step goes where. ... show more

We bought this so I could get in and out of pool easier. We positioned it directly up against the provided pool ladder as we didn't want to waste inside the pool space with a larger ladder. It works well. I feel it is a bit wobbly going up and down but nothing that scares me. Stairs are plenty wide and not slippery. We have used them for 2 swim seasons (which are long in Florida) and no problems and will continue until they break. Would purchase again. ... show more

Easy to put together. Steps seem to be sturdy, but the hand rails are not as sturdy as they say. They wobble and it doesn’t appear to be any way to make them sturdy. It definitely floats and so you need weights but apparently no one on Amazon sells the recommended weights from the instructions so you have to go on a wild goose chase to find something that might work. We are going to try the waterproof sand bags and we will see how they work. We have an above ground splash pool with a deck around it and the height seems to be great. The arms that attach to the deck are adjustable and slide along post to the height you need. ... show more

Worked great for our 24 foot above ground pool. Suggest buying the weights to keep it on the bottom.
