    • So cool but a learning curve
I know this is long but it’s needed. Just got these hearing aids today and had to say how happy I am. Finally able to get a product that does want it claims. First I must say I am not a technical type so I am writing about my experience and observations only. It helps that I have been wearing aids for several years and a lot of the process is nothing new, but I’ll start at the beginning. The aids are well packaged, good looking, and came out of the box fully charged. I got the howling at first that others have noted. It took a little trial and error in trying the different domes, but I had them fit without howling (to me it was a constant bird tweet). They paired with Bluetooth easily, and when reopened, reconnection was automatic. One issue I have found is that when I went to the other end of my small house - about 30+ feet - Bluetooth disconnected and did not repair when I was back in range. No biggy, just turned of the phone Bluetooth and back on again. Reconnected right away. Probably could also just power down the aid and turn back on as well. Sound is good and true in tone from speech, TV, Bluetooth calls or apps, and most importantly to me music. I play a little ukulele (won’t call myself a musician) that I love but have had no end of problems in getting hearing aids to sound clearly. Once I found the mode for me, I had no problem in needing to tweak volume, etc. So all’s almost good. The cons are that the user guide is useless. Too much technical and general information without specifics on this product. The operation guide is fair but incomplete. And the case must be charged with the USB-C cable they provide which is very short. Be prepared to charge from a tabletop hub, laptop, etc or set them on the floor. I tried another cable that I know works and nada. The best instructions are in the Amazon product page and a little trial and error. Here’s what you need to know. The aids are turned on by removing from the case OR long press on the “M” button for 10 secs. Turn off by placing in the case OR same long press on the “M” button. That’s the same action, just toggles on/off. 1 press/“click” of that same button changes volume OR if in Bluetooth mode answering or ending a call, or playing/stopping audio. 2 clicks to “change Bluetooth mode” MUST BE QUICK, give it a click-click, not a click, click or the aid will take it as volume change. I also think the term Bluetooth mode is misleading. I may be wrong, but it seems to change between the 4 ENVIRONMENTAL MODES that are referenced but not explained. Don’t know. 3 QUICK clicks to put into pairing mode and 4 QUICK clicks to go into TWS paring mode (whatever that is) would only be used once whe initially pairing to a new device. Guess TWS is to pair both aids together if using both together. That’s the best I can gather from the internet. I only use one at a time - both the same shape so either ear’s okay - as I only have a need to. Again, don’t know. Overall, seems a great product losing a star for the instructions and SHORT, DEDICATED USB-C cable. If anything changes, I’ll update. ... show more

Product was nicely packed and presentable. Size of the ear pieces could have been a bit smaller but everything seemed nicely compact. My issue was the instructions were not super clear on the volume control. Had major issues trying to keep volume balanced in each ear in spite of instructions given. The ear pieces also kept falling out of my ear and at one point I almost stepped on it. That was frustrating. The batteries also seem to go low quickly even when I turned off the ear pieces as instructed. Had to recharge daily if not more than once a day. With some improvement I feel these will make great hearing aids but some improvement is needed. ... show more

    • Low Battery Life and Range for Bluetooth
These suddenly stopped taking a charge after about 5 wears. The sound was okay and a little helpful. I loved that it would automatically switch to Bluetooth when needed. Now I love nothing because they are 100% dead.

I did like that it switched from hearing enhancement to Bluetooth on my phone seamlessly. I would have kept them but I couldn't get over how my own voice was amplified.
