As a new pool owner I have looked at a lot of pool accessories. Some have been junk only lasted a couple of weeks or not lived up to expectations. This light however is exactly what you want. It is a good quality build. The battery is lasting great even on weeks of cloud coverage. It leaves a little to be desired on the mount to the round bar on top of my pool. I have to adjust it a lot. The light is real bright. It reaches almost all the way across my 22 foot pool. I later discovered if my fountain lights had been made by pool hacker the remote would have worked all the lights together. I am seriously thinking about buying their fountain light now and getting another one of these for the other end of the pool. I decided to try their shelves. They are not designed for my pool I figured I could modify something. They are of awesome quality as well. It really seems like Pool Hacker is about selling quality products. I will definitely be looking at Pool Hacker for pool accessories.

What an amazing company to deal with. My biggest mistake I made when I had my inground 16x 32 foot pool installed was not putting in a light. For over 30 years I have been searching for a soulution. I have tried all the battery gizmos and always regretted it. They would fill up with water. POOLHACKERS is the real deal. Took me exactly 10 minutes to take it out of the box and installed on my pool deck. Glued it to the deck and it was solid. I had a little problem with the light. The company responded in minutes on their live chat. For those of you that complain that it is not bright enough the light needs to be under water for full effect. My only con is the light is not long enough to go under water. I hope they can fix that.

Was in sun for 5 straight days in June in Michigan and wouldnt work. I've requested a replacement, so I'll update this if I get a working light. UPDATE: Customer service was able to replace the defective unit in three days. The new light works as intended. I only got a few hours of direct sunlight upon delivery, so the light only last about 20 mins the first night. Customer service was prompt and helpful. I'll update to 5 stars if I start getting long duration lighting once I'm able to give a full charge.

That my purchase of the light was a mistake as the light worked for one night and not since. Ease of installation: Will not recommend the purchase of this light. Added this: Emailed the company and they have offered to replace light free. Was hasty in a negative review and wish to give the company a chance and see if a replacement light will work. The concept is great; the light works under water off pool deck and with an additional light would light up a regulation size backyard pool of 15' X 30' very nicely.

The light works well, easy to install. I used the provided adhesive as well as double sided gorilla tape, seems to be holding on. My cool decking is textured. I used the whole tube of adhesive, I did not screw into my pool deck. The whole pool is not lit up but for $120 it’s doing its job. Remote works and is convenient. Different light modes, colors, brightness. I would recommend. Might get an other one to light up the whole pool. My pool is 18x24 L shaped.

Everything about the solar panel and actual light is great but the mechanism to keep it attached to the backside of pool ledge is very flimsy — because my panel is not 90 degrees the finished edge is at an angle which caused pressure in the depth bracket & making it pop off — I dont recall anywhere in description that said edge panel needed to be square I am using a clamp to hold it in place The top spring over powers the the smaller spring that extends the back clamp for the depth of pool ledge—

I am quite impressed with this product. I was looking for something that didn’t require installation, this solar powered pool light is awesome! It has various light settings. I have a smaller pool and one solar light covered a good amount of the pool. I gave it a 4 because although it covers the majority of the pool it would be nice if they add lights the sides of the device and it would then capture the whole pool. It charges pretty well. Overall I am happy. I’ve only had it for a couple weeks but I’m quite impressed. Edit- I’ve had it for several weeks now, it easily gets knocked off when the kids are playing. There is some difficulty when placing it to edge. I just remove it when the kids are in the pool. Otherwise a simple bump will knock it off.
