I know it is a simple concept but being able to go out in my yard for 5-10 min a couple times a day and get the swing speed, rotation, and follow through going really helped my drives the last time out. Im not in a position where using a regular club would work very well. So this is perfect. Only draw back was this is long so it was really helpful for my woods but I immediately felt awkward on my irons, particularly my wedges. So Im getting the 46 one to help with my irons. Really for the money, if you use it, it will likely help with tempo, rotation, and follow through. Youll have to figure out how to keep your head down on your own :D.

I got this on the recommendation of my son's golf pro teacher, who is a well-known, highly-rated teaching pro. It basically does what its competitor that comes in 3 different sticks does, but all in one stick. It has removable weights. You can choose to do the upsell programs on their website or just do it self directed. The stick is well manufactured from high-end materials. Feels like someone made it in a machine shop. The all-in-one design accomplishes the same thing as the 3-stick competitor, while obviously only having to cart around one stick. As far as the efficacy, I can see why it would increase your swing speed a bit. It also helps to get you to swing on-plane, and serves as an excellent warm-up tool. It tends to strengthen your hand, wrist and arm muscles, and help with flexibility. I've enjoyed using it so far and would recommend it. I am a scratch senior amateur player and former college player long ago, so in principle, I know what I'm talking about...

I don't spend money on a warm up bucket of balls before my rounds anymore. This swing aide is great for warning up. Just 20 easy swings back and forth and I'm ready to go. I'm sure it helps with temp and speed, but I just need it to warm up these old muscles. If I do go to the range to hit a few, I can use this as an alignment stick. I've had this for about 3 months and it was a great investment. It has saved me a lot of time and money.

I have been golfing for 12 years, took it up when I retired at age 65. In that period my handicap dropped from the mid-50s to about 30. However, age and recent illness have taken their toll so that when I am finally able to resume golf this season I am pretty certain my handicap be back up in the high 30s. Not long ago I found that my bad back, weaker muscles and decreasing flexibility were adversely affecting my accuracy and distance. I tried lessons and golf-related exercises with some positive results. However, after trying one of these devices at my club I decided to buy one for myself, and I am glad I did I dont know how much the device has improved my strength, but it definitely has helped with my tempo, ball striking and follow-through. I have a tendency to try to speed up my swing and hit the ball as hard as I can, which creates tension in my body and diminishes my accuracy and distance; this device helps counteract those tendencies and develop muscle memory. Specifically, I use it to warm up before hitting my real clubs, focusing particularly on tempo and completing my follow-through. I also use it at home (outdoors only) when the weather is bad. Using the device is pretty intuitive, though there are several videos on YouTube that show various exercises including warm-ups. Search for Gold Flex or its competitor, Orange Whip; they both function the same way though the Gold Flex is a bit less expensive. Some people may be shy about using one of these devices on the driving range; however, I have seen them used by teaching pros as training aids for their students of all ages and I do not reject anything legal and efficacious that allows me to knock a few points off my handicap.

I’m really glad I tried this. I’m shorter so got shorter length. I’m having to move slower during back swing and I have to pause just a bit to start down swing. I think this will give me better tempo, as I seem to rush a lot. My husband liked it too. I’m practicing swing during the winter & while I’m away in upstate NY. When too cold & lazy, just few minutes out in the back yard is good. I like the handle where it shows where you should grip.
