Does not bleed or keep running like other semi-permanet dyes, but you defniately can not dye your hair a lighter color after putting this bad boy on it. My mom used to use this so its been good for decaddes. I am currently regrowing my hair from finger waves and get so many complments on how dark and thick my TWA looks lol 10/10 ... show more

I wanted to color my hair before starting my dreadloc starter locs. I had a lighter shade to at grew out and I just added this color all over my head. I like the final result of the color with the tips being a little lighter shade. Would reccomend!

Finally found the right coloring and brand. I’ve tried two different types and was not satisfied at all. Did not cover my gray around my front edges and never gave me the satisfaction in the color. After trying this Dark & Lovely for the first time I was sold after seeing the overall coloring. This will be my third purchase and started buying the double because it’s well worth it and no plans on switching to any other. Although I deducted a point because the Fade Resistance does not mean what it says, my coloring fades after about a month or so and my gray begins lifting as well, therefore I need to touch up more often then usual, and no my hair hasn’t fell out…if it does oh well..lol. I already have it cut very short and tapered on the sides and lower back area, love my short cut with my honey blonde coloring or anything in that scheme. Shipping not the best but I’m never in a hurry to get it. I usually order the double box to have on hand and when I’m ready I’m ready…have the double in my cart as we speak..I just seen this same brand now have a New Fade Resistant by Dark & Lovely I found on Divatress website, a box for $5.49..I’m really thinking about trying it, they have all the lovely colors as well…if I try will come back to update. ... show more

I love this hair dye I have dark brown hair and this hair dye actually worked for me. My hair looks like rubies in the sunlight. It didn't bleed much into my pillows either. The hair dye didn't smell at all and it looked like a watermelon jolly rancher when it was all mixed. I will use this again for sure it will be my go to hair dye. ... show more

After using this hair dye, my extensions were left feeling extremely dry, brittle, and damaged. I would not recommend this product for anyone with hair extensions as it did not provide any moisture or nourishment. In fact, it seemed to strip my extensions of their natural oils, leaving them looking dull and lifeless. Overall, I was highly disappointed with the results and would not use this hair dye again.
