Following the demise of my Resound hearing aids (7 or 8 years old & worn out), I couldn’t afford a new pair. I was leery about getting something online and did quite a bit of research. There weren’t enough reviews for me to be comfortable with hearing aids that would pair with my iPhone. These hearing aids had a lot of good reviews so I decided to purchase them. They arrived when expected and were easy to put on the charger etc. They are comfortable, in fact I forgot that I had them on. The hearing improvement is really good. It is almost like my old hearing aids without all of the bells and whistles. I like that I don’t have to worry about batteries or making a bunch of adjustments every time my phone has a software update. I am new to the hearing aid world. I was diagnosed at 33 in 2012 with tinnitus and hearing loss at higher frequencies. Now, after 14 years of exposure to firearms, sirens, and repeated fire alarms pertaining to my career, I am having more trouble hearing. It seems like everyone mumbles, and I can’t watch TV without the captions or I keep asking people in the room what is being said. In waiting to see my audiologist, I purchased these aids to see if they would help improve my hearing a little. They weren’t too hard to set up in my opinion, but I can see how someone might need help if they aren’t familiar with QR codes and such. I was alarmed at first use since it sounded like I was in a tube, and every sound was magnified completely. I switched to the closed tipped ear pieces as I needed a bit more sound restriction than the device would allow which helped. I like how easy they are to put on, and use. The volume and programs are easy to set, and I barely notice they are in my ears. I also like that the lights on the device aren’t on while I am wearing them so they can’t be seen through my hair or when my hair is up. Today, I spoke to someone on the phone and felt like the aids helped. I also haven’t said “What?” as much while speaking with friends in person. I will see how it goes as my brain gets used to hearing more. Overall, they are a great price and seem to be working. I will do an update once I have more experience with the product. ****Update- 1/25/24 I got the hearing aids on Dec 14th, and have worn them every day since. It has taken about that long for my brain to reprocess all sounds. Everything was so loud to start, I was nauseous from normal sounds. But now the sound quality has improved greatly, and everything I hear isn’t as magnified. I am so glad I tried them. They have truly been great, and allowed me to hear more which makes communication easier and more enjoyable. Especially with my kiddo. ... show more

Bought these after reading all the positive reviews. Like many others, I previously had expensive name brand hearing aids. I was fed up with the fine ear wire breaking and having to find a place to get replaced since I moved to another state. The EarCentric are fabulous! I hear even better, almost too much, but appreciate I can control the volume. After 2 weeks, the left one was not working. Went to the website and got into the chat line Ninia asked for my phone number, immediately called me and walked me through the process of cleaning the clear ear wire. Simple fix and told me I should do this every other day. I appreciate I can do my own maintenance when needed. They supply the cleaning tools and extra supplies. I’ve been wearing EarCentric hearing aid since April of 2022, purchasing them at the same price as todays listing. I’ve been very pleased with the aids performance, finding no difference in my previous Starkey brand that I paid 3,900 dollars for after they quit! I’ve recommended EarCentric to my family members and friends.     • Can’t believe what I have been missing

I love the ease of use and the fact that there is U.S. based customer support. After a bout of Covid, I found that my hearing was quite diminished. I was having a difficult time hearing conversations and had to have the volume on my television turned up to 25-30. My hearing aids arrived and I couldn’t wait to try them. I first tried one in my right ear and was totally amazed at how good I could hear. I could hear my husband talking to me in a normal voice, instead of yelling. I then tried the one in my left ear. I turned on my tv, which was set on 25 volume.I immediately had to turn the volume down because it was way too loud. I found that a volume level of 12-15 was very comfortable. These hearing aids are well designed and with the exception of much improved hearing, I can barely tell I am wearing them. My husband tried my hearing aids and liked them so mush, he is ordering a pair. I highly recommend this product to anyone who is considering the purchase of some hearing aids. ... show more
