There weren't as many bungees as there were grommets. This was just as well, because 1) the bungees barely stretched over the boards (the shade is over my pergola) and 2) after less than 6 months, during a rather heavy wind storm, several of the bungees broke. If I hadn't supplemented the bungees with zip ties, my shade cover would have been gone forever. The shade itself seems to be holding up OK. I was planning on leaving it up all winter. I didn’t like hauling my pop up tent. I wanted something I could put in a tactical backpack and carry it on my back. Bought 4 telescoping poles for about $50 so that I call my beach shade easily. Today I did a lean-to instead of using all 4 poles. Very happy.

After purchasing a 90% shade from another vendor in gray, which was not straight-edged rectangular (had curved edges for hanging over a patio), we wanted a completely rectangular shade that hung vertically would prevent gaps of sunlight at top and sides. PROS: Nice material and construction. Grommets are metal and evenly spaced on all sides. Coverage is full rectangle. CONS: The Wheat color (at least) definitely let in more light than the other vendor's 90% gray shade. As sun lowered in sky, still experienced glaring light within shadow of shade. Wheat color more yellow than shown on website. Don't know if darker colors do a better job of living up to 90% shade but this did not. ... show more

    • Don't last forever in the wind.

Attachment system didn't last at all. First wind and they were broken. A few of the grommets are tearing out on the two I've had for a couple of years. They do good but aren't quite strong enough to hold up in the wind.

Provides wonderful shade and protects my plants from being scorched and damaged from heavy rain. The fabric appears to have silver threads to reflect heat too. The color makes my breezeway glow! Having the grommets instead of D rings allows more anchors to hold it down when it's windy. The only issue I have is that only 12 6" ball bungees were provided. There are 12 grommets on each side. I ordered 4" ball bunjees from another vendor and they work much, much better. I think the ball bunjees should not be included in the ad. That was a selling point for me. Disappointed to not get 24. But, the product is great, shipping was FAST, and I highly recommend it. ... show more

The shade is very effective over arbor & provides good sun screening. But as next photo shows the bungee cords included are worthless they do not hold - they’re snapping , breaking and falling to ground. Soon nothing will be holding my shade fabric to arbor. The bungees are simply poor quality. This shade has been up 3 months and cost $800 to install. I’m very dissatisfied. ... show more

I haven't had this product long, but one thing I was disappointed by was I was expecting a light beige screen to match my dark brown patio, but the product is actually much more yellow-looking than brown. I don't know if "wheat" is actually more yellow, but the picture on Amazon made it look light brown, which was exactly what I wanted, but the actual product is a totally different color. I need to buy and attach some wood to my porch in order to hang the screen properly, so I take it down when I am not using it, in part because it casts this weird golden color into my living room when it's up that does not look very natural. On the plus, it does help with sun protection, there are many holes to adjust how you want to hang it, and the bungee balls have come in handy. ... show more
