I ordered this Shark cordless vacuum wand because of the good reviews. I have had 'reconditioned' items in the past that have worked out well so decided to save a few dollars. On receipt, his item looked as though it had been 'thrown into a box' with no cushion, no additional packaging and NO certification that it had been reviewed and renewed. Even so, I plugged in the charging cradle and allowed the vac to charge overnight. The charging light indicated that it did charge. However, it did not work at all. When I depressed the ON switch, I heard a little beep, then it cut off. Amazon customer service continues to be stellar and I returned this the day after receipt with no problem. ... show more

If it wasn’t for the lack of attachment storage on the dock, I’d be giving this 5 stars. I’m told legacy models came with attachment storage on the back, but newer models had that feature removed. Also, if you’re reading this like I was with loads of bad reviews about the refurbished models, that was 100% NOT my experience. It arrived in less packaging , compliments of being certified refurbished, but was in otherwise immaculate condition. It is such a quality hand vac that I already want a 2nd one. The suction power is the best I’ve ever had in a hand vac. I just wish I had found this much sooner, because we’ve been through many different models and brands before we landed on this one. ... show more

    • Arrived without built-in tool rack
This unit works well and looks good for sitting, ready for small dry spills, on my kitchen counter. However, a quality full size vacuum is best for large floor spills and vacuuming jobs. The longevity of this model may not be ideal. The first one I owned, bought two years ago, failed (apparently wore out). I could not find any other unit that both worked well for kitchen small spills and looked good enough to leave out, ready-for-use, on my counter. That said, the newest purchase had one flaw relative to my original purchase. It arrived without the tool attachment mount on the charger which came on my original unit. Fortunately, I could discard the new charger base and re-use the old base that included tool stowage. The tools attachments are rarely needed, but it is nice to keep all neatly together. If this is important to you, go direct to Shark and find out how to insure purchase of a unit that includes tool stowage. ... show more

    • I wrote after receipt alerting the vendor that the part which holds accessories were missing.
I liked the vacuum but the attachment that held accessories was not included and the vendor didn’t respond to my complaint

    • Doggone good hand vacuum
It's picking up the dog hair very well. Strong suction means that it gets the job done. Lightweight, the Shark is easy to hold and use. Small issues, the on/off button is too easily depressed. The reservoir might be too small for some. It's easy to empty though. Not sure about battery life yet. I am following manufacturer's instructions to a Tee though (Fully charge before first use. Let completely discharge before charging again). ... show more

I have hard floors so little bits of dirt and gravel and litter bits get on the floor near certain areas. This is quick and easy to clean up areas so it doesn’t spread out through the house. Good on stairs (if you don’t have many) or to clean car.

Best handheld vacuum I have found. It cleans up pug hair pretty well, and leaves the carpet looking like it was freshly vacuumed. Only thing I wish it had was an extender for hard to reach areas. My back starts to hurt from bending

    • Stopped working within 4 months!!
I’ve had this since September and it just stopped working. The last few months it wouldn’t hold a charge and now it just quit altogether. VERY disappointed after paying over $100 for a tiny hand held vacuum that was used very lightly!
