It’s perfect for my PS5 pro and I have the disc drive , I feel comfortable with the level of production for my investment, and I plan to relocate with it . So if your thinking of traveling with your system??? It’s worth it . Even if it’s once or twice in my opinion.

The media could not be loaded. So I bring my playstation on trips with me all of the time and this case is perfect for travel. The outershell of this case is made of a tough thick impact resistant plastic. This case has a very high quality build quality to it and it is drop proof, dust proof and water proof. The inner portion of the case is lined with thick foam that in my view offers the ultimate protection for my for my playstation 5. There are cutouts for my system, controllers, cables etc and everything fits great. I have confidance if I drop this case with my playstation in it that I will not see any damage to my playstation. This case is a little pricey but for the protection that it gives but I feel it is worth the price.

Pros: Hard case Padding Latches.. strong, not flimsy.. can add a lock to the case, like a TSA lock. Cons: Price Air travel: Too big for carry-on luggage... so you have to check it, and be concerned with how it's handled, theft, etc. Although considering all the professionals that travel with camera, music equipment, etc., that fly with checked hard cases might not be a common problem. The padding above the console seems less than below it. Again, not too big a deal if you are the one carrying & handling it. But if it's gonna get tossed by baggage handlers, maybe an issue. The sensitive moving part is the optical drive. Might consider removing the optical drive module and putting it into your carry-on. This way it's subject to less physical forces. I know most modern drive devices auto-park the heads inside the unit. So maybe not an issue. The compartment for the controllers... set them in place carefully good so you don't get stick pressure and maybe stick drift later on. I used some of the tear out foam pieces to try and keep them from moving into a position that would put pressure on the stick & buttons. What I eventually did is, I picked up a pair of those formfitting hardshell cases for my controllers and they slide nicely into that slot. It protects the sticks and buttons from pressing.

This case is built like a tank. The hard shell feels durable, and the custom foam fits everything securely—console, controllers, stand, headset, and games. It’s bulky, but that’s the trade-off for serious protection. Great option for travel or long-term storage. No complaints here. Everything functions as expected and really exceed expectations. It comes at a premium price, but the value is all there.
