  • Spectacular at cleaning your hard floors in a very short amount of time
Style: Floor ONE S3
This TINECO Floor One S3 Cordless Hardwood Floor Cleaner is spectacular at cleaning your hard floors in a very short amount of time but if you have pets or people that shed a lot of hair, it's not quite as quick and easy. (Also note that this is for hard floors only. It is not for vacuuming carpeting or rugs.) So basically, this is a floor machine that vacuums and scrubs your hard floors simultaneously, sucking up the dirty water and leaving your floors super clean. The floors dry so quickly, I wondered if it was a steam cleaner, too, but it's not. It just vacuums up the dirty water so well that there is very little left on the floor. And wow, the water in the dirty water tank is filthy! It also has a stand that also serves as a charging dock. It has easily changeable brush rollers and filters. The dirty water tank is easy to remove and clean. There is even a self cleaning cycle that cleans the brush roller very well. Basically, you only clean manually the dirty water tank and the area where the brush roller is installed and the HEPA filter, which takes very little time. It's a quality, well built, machine but the manual leaves a bit to be desired for such an expensive machine. For example, it comes with an extra roller and HEPA filter, which I assumed were to be used when the installed ones wore out. The manual doesn't really make it clear. Also, there are two accessory holders but it doesn't say where they go. (They attach to the sides of the charging stand.) The machine speaks to you - giving you status reports on the charging status, telling you when to run the self cleaning cycle, when to refill the clean water tank, when to empty the dirty water tank, etc. This is actually pretty great. And it's extremely gratifying to see how dirty the water is after cleaning. Best of all, it's super quiet and maneuvers very well. I am currently living in an apartment with mostly hard flooring and I can use this machine at night without worries of disturbing any neighbors. I was upset at first when it told me to start the self cleaning cycle after only about 10 minutes of floor cleaning. And then, I saw that the HEPA filter must be fully dry before reinstalling it in the machine after rinsing it as directed. It says the same thing about the roller brush. Then I realized THAT'S why you get an extra set included in the box! Next, I realized that hair is what clogs the dirty water tank and gets stuck on the roller brush, prompting the self cleaning cycle. I have a household that includes a couple of dogs that shed a lot and several people with very long hair. So for me, doing a quick once over with a dust mop before using this machine works much better. Less hair means I can clean the floors for much longer before I have to clean the tank and the brush roller. If you don't have pet fur or a lot of human hair to deal with, you can skip the dust mopping but if you do have pets, be ready to stop a lot unless you use this machine almost every day to keep the hair and fur to a minimum. I also ordered 2 more HEPA filters and 2 more roller brushes so I can clean the entire apartment. It comes with a cleaning concentrate (which is awesome, BTW) but you can also clean with plain water. I have some unusual cleaning challenges. We had a house fire so we are living in an apartment until the house is repaired. We are working in the sooty house daily and come home covered in soot. I also have a broken wrist that is in a cast. Despite the hair challenges, this machine does an amazing job of cleaning up after us and I can manage it easily one handed. Although the owner's manual isn't the best, you will get the hang of it after using it a little and it's truly excellent. I will update if I have issues in the future but so far, I am very pleased with how well this works. UPDATE: I am now in love with this machine and cannot imagine life without it. My oldest dog is 18 and failing fast. We take her out in a doggy stroller because it is too far for her to walk and the other day, she had a pee accident in the hallway and elevator before I saw it. Tineco Floor One S3 to the rescue. I was able to clean the hallway and elevator floor quickly and easily. Have just ordered more cleaning solution because a) it's really good stuff and b) it will void your warranty if you use another brand. 2nd UPDATE: I am still in love with this machine. My floors have never looked better and it's so quick and easy to clean up a sudden mess. Once you get used to cleaning the dirty water tank and refilling the clean water/cleaning solution tank a couple of times if you are cleaning ALL of your floors, it still saves you so much time and is much easier than even a swiffer and the floors are left very, very clean. Do learn from my mistake, though. Don't leave dirty water in the dirty water tank overnight - rinse it out right away after you are done cleaning. If you leave it overnight (or longer), the plastic tank will pick up a gross smell. If that happens, you need to clean it out and then let it sit with a bleach and water solution inside the tank for a day and then, maybe even let it sit out in the sun for a couple of hours to get rid of the smell. This won't happen if you clean out the tank right after you finish using it or after a self-cleaning cycle has been run. The machine will tell you to do this so listen to it. ... show more

  • It's Time You Upgraded your Swiffer Sweeper & Enter the Adult 2.0 League of Cleanliness
Style: Floor ONE S3
Damn, can we just appreciate some cleaning tool technology feats here? It's a wet mop & vacuum that's perfect for hardwood floors...& it's cordless! AMAZING. If the thought of a really clean kitchen floor turns you on, buy this vacuum. But look, I get it. This thing is pricey, especially if you're a millennial with a somewhat decent paying job & student loans to pay off. Why spend your hard-earned cash on a vacuum/mop combo when a Swiffer Sweeper Wetjet seems like it should be good enough? For those who are fortunate enough to have disposable income they haven't YOLO'd into GME, it's time for you to upgrade from that Swiffer to a Tineco. It'll change your life & you will have absolutely NO RAGRATS. Clean-up is so easy with this bad boy. It's sleek, lightweight, & astonishingly easy to use & clean. Yes, you have to clean the cleaning tool. Welcome to adulthood, don't be lazy, it's necessary to maintain the integrity of the vacuum. This is the perfect tool for apartments or houses with hardwood or tiled floors. However, I will say that while this vacuum is fantastic at cleaning & sucking up things in open spaces, it fails to suction up debris near edges or walls. The suction isn't powerful enough (even on max) to grab things right near a wall. My recommendation is to sweep any spilled messes to the middle of the floor & then go HAM. If you spill soil from your plants, that won't be a problem to suction up, but if you try to suction up foliage--such as palm leaves or dead leaves--just don't. Sweep those things up, y'all--they're not meant to be vacuumed. Other than that, it's a 10/10 would recommend. If you're deciding between a Dyson or this Tineco, you're comparing different tools for different jobs. Think about what you really need to clean (kitchen where there's wet things or carpet, stairs, & mostly dry yuckies) & then make a decision. This vacuum/mop combo is fantastic for kitchen, bathroom, & living room cleanups. This doesn't mean it's not good for suctioning up dry mess, it just means you shouldn't be using it on carpets because the roller brush will just spread dirt all over it. The autoclean mechanic works great, making clean up a breeze. Dump out the dirty water tank in your sink & bin the chunkier debris. The battery charges pretty quickly & you get a solid battery life before it dies. If you're spending more than 35 minutes vacuuming, your house is either way too filthy or just way too enormous (must be nice). As a wet vacuum, this is one of the best cleaning tools to have in your arsenal & it is a DELIGHT to use. The suction is so powerful that it practically drives itself (again, with the exception of edges). Dried spills easily come away when you roll over them SLOWLY a few times. If you have a lot of carpet in the house or rugs or you need to clean a lot of stairs & this is your main concern, go with a Dyson. They're the best vacuums on the market with the best suction & you can convert them into a smaller handheld vacuum to get those hard-to-reach spots & stairs. Overall, I wouldn't go so far as to say that this product will replace any vacuum you have, especially if your vacuum has the ability to be converted to a smaller unit to grab small messes, but it will replace your mop! Upgrade your crappy mop, y'all. It's time you got a Tineco. ... show more

  • Horrible Customer Sercive
Style: Floor ONE S3
For the first year, it worked GREAT! Had a few issues but nothing too serious that I couldn’t figure out myself. Mostly the canisters were hard to snap in and would cause it to not work. But it was so nice to clean the floors without having to vacuum first! However, after just a little over a year, it just stopped working. I still had not even used all the soap that I had received with the machine before it just stopped working. I am grateful for the two year warranty, however their customer service SUCKS!!! You have to send in the machine and there is not a box available so you have to buy your own, they say they will refund you for the box, so that’s what I did since I have no other choice. I sent it back in, but a few days later I’m told that my machine is unfortunately broken beyond repair and I am offered a refund of 25% of my purchase price!! WHAT?? No replacement, no refurbished option!! Unbelievable, I tell them this is not right and they offer 50% back. I regrettably agree. Mind you I still have not received my refund for the box I had to buy to mail it to them! After I agree to the ridiculous refund I am told they can only give me a refund over Pay Pal or Bank. I give them my bank account because I do not have a Pay Pal account. And then they come back and say they cannot give me money to my bank because my bank does not have a SWIFT code. I called my bank asking them about the swift number and they tell me that you shouldn’t need that number, it’s typically only used for wires, and they charge me for that! I’ve been waiting for weeks, and only get a response from them after a few days in the middle of the night! So they now have my machine which I paid to get it to them, and no refund!! There are other floor cleaners on the market, hopefully there is one with better customer service and better quality of the machine! ... show more

  • MUST HAVE!! Used on LVP flooring
Style: Floor ONE S3
I cannot recommend this product more. I purchased the "ONE S3" model and I love it. The shipping was so fast, since Sunday I have used this at least four times. We have 3 large (indoor) dogs, and a toddler who usually ends up with food on the floor, so this has been an absolute game changer. I have been looking for one for months and the ones that I have wanted and have great reviews all end up being way more than I wanted to spend (including this one). You are getting what you pay for and I would say MORE. The actual quality is seriously better than our Dyson vacuum, which was almost double and only vacuums. This is extremely easy to use, I did not even have to read instructions. It does have a "voice" that will tell you what you need to do. Ex. empty the dirty water tank. Almost all of our floors are LVP besides the bedrooms, which are carpet. So over 2,000 is LVP and so S3 has been such a great buy. My only regret is I did not buy it sooner. I actually asked on Facebook for recommendations and this brand overall was the reoccurring name. It maneuvers well but my model does not lay flat, that was not a deal breaker for me and honestly has been just fine. Out flooring is a grey/brown color but cooler tones so dirt hides well but you can feel that the floor is not clean when barefoot. I knew the floors would not be great but know seeing what they should feel like and look like (especially when the sun shines across them) it is amazing. There is not "sticky" residue left behind and you can see the path you took with the vacuum too. It is not bulky so it would not be hard to find a spot for it. The battery only lasts for about 30 minutes depending on the mode you select. At first I was concerned with the amount I needed to do and doing it with one charge. It is almost perfect. I have used it to pick up food after supper with my toddler (GAME CHANGER!!). If you are concerned about the price, I get it but this is one GREAT investment and well worth every penny! ... show more

Style: Floor ONE S3
First, let me tell you about my household. 3 dogs, 4 cats. 1 of my dogs, drops black clumps of hair everywhere. I have tile and wood floors. I have been using the o'cedar mop, for years and have been pleased with the job it does. I have black mats and a Ruggable rug. No, you can not just use this without vacuuming first. i tried and within minutes it was telling me to clean the roller. I have 3 different types of vacuums, upright for rugs, simple cordless vacuum for the floors, and a canister with a floor attachment to do the floors in detail. This what I had to do before using Tineco, which is totally fine with me. It did a good job, i had to get a few spots off by hand but overall, very pleased. Dried very quickly and was not smeary. Now my cleaning business. There is one floor that is SHINY laminate flooring. This is the only floor I have to get on my hands and knees, spay with glass cleaner and wipe it dry. Otherwise all of my other clients I am using o'cedar mop. Well this ACTUALLY WORKED. I was in shock. It did not smear or leave film on the floor. The battery life was fine for this house and mine. This machine does not work well on stairs, I would not even bother using on any rugs. The distance between cabinet and floor can be an issue for some. Tight spots like around the toilet, does not go under a bed at all, which is fine(I can use the mop). While it does suck up stuff still on the floor, it will clog the filter or brush. Which then you have stop and clean the filter, but again I am not on my hands and knees. Keeping an eye on the water, dumping the dirty water, IN THE TOILET. I do not recommend dumping in a sink. I still using the mop to do baseboards or tight spots. I can not use this for my regular clients and it is bit to much work and battery life. ... show more

  • I think I like this, but…
Style: Floor ONE S3
I think I like this. I’ve been using it for about 3 weeks, here are my initial thoughts. Overall, it’s so much better than mopping any other way. Fast, easy, just like vacuuming. I hate mopping, therefore avoid it, and my floors are typically way dirtier than they should be. But not anymore - I love running this thing! That being said, I’ve noticed a few things to consider: 1) For the first week or two, it cleaned well but left streaks on my HWF. I tried everything - switching cleaning solution, no cleaning solution, etc. The thing that has finally made it better - I take out the roller brush and wet it before starting. The streaks are caused by the sprayers - they are evenly spaced along the roller, and then it leaves evenly spaced streaks on the floor. Even though the floor looks uniformly damp when you mop, it dries with streaks. It still does this sometimes, I haven’t completely cracked the code yet. But I’d rather have slightly streaky clean floors than dirty floors. 2) It talks. LOUDLY. It tells you when it’s on, what it’s doing, reminds you to put on charger, talks you through the self-clean. This part sucks, I’d give anything for a mute button. 3) You have to clean it religiously. Good news though, it’s easy. The first time I used it, I completely took it apart and cleaned it - just to see where gunk was building up. It’s almost all in the dirty water tank, with some on the roller and roller cover. I just do the self-clean now after every use (just push a button, it cleans itself), and fully empty and rinse the dirty water tank. I also rinse off the roller pretty regularly and wipe the roller cover with a towel before putting it back on. Sounds like a lot - but I was expecting the type of cleaning you need to do on a carpet cleaner, and this is no way near that. It’s like 10% of the time/energy of cleaning a carpet cleaner. 4) Yes it vacuums while it mops, but as a pet owner, you really have to vacuum first or the mop will get so gunked up and gross. I vacuum then mop. Most of the pet hair goes in the vacuum, the mop catches anything left behind. I always had to vacuum then mop before anyway, this doesn’t seem like a big deal to me. 5) The charging base is big. I was planning on sticking it in a closet, but it’s really quite large. I’m not sure where I’m going to put it. I was expecting something smaller - like my stick vacuum that hangs on a wall charger or something. It’s big. 4) It’s expensive. I got it slightly on sale. But for the money, I really wish it didn’t streak and had a mute button. Thus the 4 stars. Overall, this is a solid machine, seems like it will last if you keep it clean and take care of it. And it’s fun to use, so I find myself mopping way more regularly. ... show more

  • So easy to use! Saves time!
Style: Floor ONE S3
Everyone has been raving about their Tineco or Bissell Crosswave.... so I HAD to get one. I did my read watch, watched comparison videos, and read reviews. Several of the videos showed the Tineco cleaning better than the Crosswave. After using each they would wipe with a paper towel and the Crosswave left stuff behind, the Tineco did not, the paper towel was clean. That was my decision maker.... and I am so happy with my purchase! The machine itself is so lightweight (lighter than my cordless Dyson) and it maneuvers easier too! My 4 year old uses my Tineco with ease! I have 3 kids, 2 dogs, and 2 cats. My kids don’t spill a ton of liquid or sauce (luckily). So I can’t really say how it does on those from experience (in the videos it cleaned those excellently). For our family it is a huge time saver and does a better job than when we would sweep and mop. Our cats’ litter box is in the laundry room in which our kids clean daily. Before the Tineco they would sweep (they are long hair cats so hair is everywhere plus litter is spread around) then mop with a standard wet mop pad. Since they have started using the Tineco they can sweep and mop in one step. Plus it’s A LOT cleaner! We have found the room actually doesn’t need cleaned as often because it just does a better job. We have bamboo flooring. It saves me a step to sweep and mop in one step. Like I said, I have kids and pets.... I don’t have time to sweep and mop all the time. I love that it is easy to dump out and then self cleans! As I mentioned my kids use it everyday. They dump out the dirty water tank and do the self cleaning on their own. My only complaint (which isn’t really a bog deal) is that we have to fill the clean water tank a lot; that water doesn’t last long. We use it a lot so it’s not a big deal but if I had to list one thing that isn’t perfect about it, it would be that. Overall, my Tineco is a life saver! ... show more

  • It's 100% worth the money
Style: Floor ONE S3
I waited a couple months before writing my review because I wanted it to be fair. I'll address some of the other common comments first: Yes, the tanks are small. It's a small vacuum. If you want a bigger tank, get a bigger vacuum. There's photos & a description that says 0.6 Liters. If you buy this expecting a bigger tank, that's on you. Yes, you have to clean it after every use. I assumed most people clean their vacuums after using them, so I'm not sure why this is a big deal for some. It has a self-cleaning button. Hit that, let it run, then empty everything. It takes less than 5 minutes to clean it properly. It's not a deal-breaker. It's not "exhausting". It also doesn't take longer to clean the machine than it takes to clean the floor. That's a bit dramatic. My review: The battery life is great. I can do my entire downstairs, roughly 1200 sq ft, on one charge. It says the run time is 35 minutes but it's at least an hour on a full charge. I do have to refill my clean tank a few times, which isn't a big deal. I empty the dirty tank maybe twice, then do self-cleaning & clean everything really well before putting it back together. It doesn't leave streaks. We have hardwood and vinyl flooring and it works great on both. It picks up everything with 1-2 passes. Dried mud from the dogs gets 2 passes. Someone said dog drool takes 5-6 passes...if that's the case you're probably not using it right. My only complaint: it doesn't get all the way to the baseboards. There's about an inch gap between the vacuum and baseboard. I have to get my regular mop & go around the edges of the room. It's not a deal-breaker for me. I only use the Tineco solution, so doing the baseboards allows me to use PineSol or Fabuloso. I needed something I can use on a heavy cleaning day or on a rainy day to get the dog prints up. This does both. I can mop the kitchen & clean the machine in 10 minutes before bed at night. I don't dread mopping anymore and I use it more frequently than I thought I would because it's convenient. The best part is you're not just sloshing around dirty water that smells good. It's clean. ... show more
