My wife and I installed this on our motorhome in about 4 hrs total. Installation was pretty straight forward and the fit was spot on for our 18 foot awning. The fabric on this awning is noticeably heavier and thicker than the original awning material and it looks great. As to longevity and durability only time will tell...quite happy so far.

Easy install. Fit just as was designed....the only bad thing is that when it was rolled up and folded in two places, it damaged the canvas as now their are bubblers where the fold was,. So surely when it rains it will fill the center with water,. Just like the old awning did, but the old one was 20 years old, expect something with time... just don't expect it to only last one day then it's caught up with the 20 year old... surely you've got this complaint before,. Maybe am engineer can figure this out,. Just know I can't figure out how it should be shipped????????

The material was a bit heavier than our previous awning on our horse trailer but it fit perfectly and was very easy to install. However, you will need three people to help with the installation as you need one to pull it through the slot, one to guide it and one to hold the roller on the ground to make sure that it slides through easily. Otherwise, it looks great!

I’ve always been a D.I.Y. kind of guy and replacing our awning fabric was no exception. The fabric was easy to install, but one thing that I had a problem with, which was really my own fault, was pulling the fabric through the track. I watched a replacement video and did use the recommended lubricate which was dry silicone, but I should have paid more attention when cleaning out the the track. All in all I am very pleased with this purchase and will use this vendor again if and when the need arises.

So...this was my first replacement on my awning. This awning is much heavier vinyl than the original...which is great! It is well made and looks like $1M bucks. But...since i bought a heavier awning the rail/track it slides into was a little small which made pulling it difficult. I had to spread the track along the entire 18' to inch it by little by little. Then it would bunch on the leading edge and I'd have to pull it back a little. Again...this was NOT the awning's fault...and once installed it is wonderful! Just beware that the installation takes a bit of time and effort and many trips up and down the ladder! Highly recommend if you want to upgrade your awning.

Install went fairly easy. I’m not sure if the solid white portion of the fabric is supposed to have dark spots on it? I wouldn’t think so??? If it is not, I would think a discount is in order!?
