The media could not be loaded. Our shade structure originally came with a 24 x 48 ft. shade screen with about 150 grommets to attach it to the frame. Constantly replacing ball bungee cords that broke in the wind was a constant stuggle. The last time we replaced the shade screen we used rubber tyrucker tarp straps instead. They didn't break, but the aluminum grommets on the screen ripped out in the wind, redering the shade useless within two months. Being well into senior citizenry, we needed something that would hold up to the wind and not require excessive hours of climbing and moving the ladder on uneven ground. We tried these shade sails. They were installed in a small fraction of the time it took for the grommet shade. Most corners are currently held via rubber tarp straps, but when we're no longer able to climb ladders, we'll be able to insert rope and toss it up and over to mount these shade sails. They've been up about six weeks so far and have been through winds up to 65 mph without a single corner breaking loose. I don't know yet how they'll hold up to our high-desert sun, but they're WAY better in the wind than the screens with grommets every 10 inches. I was concerned that he horses might be spooked by the amount of flopping in the wind, but they love their shady spots. This video was taken on a breezy; not windy; day.

An easy way to keep out the hot sun. I chose a light gray to match my house. I should have done this a long time ago. The price was a lot cheaper than putting up a permanent porch, especially if you don't have the time and extra money you need to have someone build it for you. I'm happy.
