When I felt how soft the arches were I thought they would not provide a lot of support, but I was quite wrong. They are very supportive and alleviate my plantar fasciitis. It's also great that the area under the metatarsals is soft, since I've lost the fat pads there. I've used these insoles daily for about a month and so far they have not worn out. So if they continue to hold their shape I will definitely buy these again - they are cheaper and better than many other brands. Regarding sizing: I wear a 10 in US men's shoes, 43-44 Euro sizing. I purchased the size 10-10.5 insoles and they fit in my shoes without trimming. So if you're a 10.5 they could be a bit short; you might want to size up and then trim the insoles a tiny bit. ... show more

I bought some expensive running shoes and it turned out they hurt my feet. Since I already splurged on the shoes, I didn’t want to spend more money on insoles. So I bought this cheap pair, and they have been perfect! It was easy to cut them to the correct size, and since then I’ve been very happy with my running shoes. Feels much better on my arches. I really liked these insoles. I’ve used several other brands. These have a bit of cushion, and good arch support. I was concerned the arch would be too high, but it was comfortable after a few minutes of wear, and never a problem. I have flat feet, and prefer to have arch support to help my ankles and knees. My only complaint is they are just a tad thicker than some other insoles, and after a week or two my feet felt really squashed. I would need to use these in a bigger shoe. ... show more

I have used shoe inserts for many years, but it was time to replace some old inserts - and these looked great. I inserted them into my shoes and proceeded to walk a 3.5 mile loop around the local lake - with complete comfort. Unfortunately, these inserts had slightly higher and firmer arches than my old inserts and my feet must not have been used to the additional support. A couple hours later, my foot started to hurt. The next day was even worse -- so bad that I went to a Doctor for treatment. I don't think it had anything to do with the inserts -- again, they fit great and they were very comfortable, but as is the case with ANY new inserts, use sparingly until your feet adjust. Updated: after I bought these, I bought several other sets of insoles from the same price to much more expensive. I’ve since decided that these work about as well as the most expensive, and now look forward to putting them on. While these alone don’t solve all problems, they do work pretty well - enough that I will buy more. Note that no one asked me to update this, I just decided that my last review was too negative and now I really do like these. I bought these a few months ago and I've hiked and walked with them a few times, maybe 20-30 miles. They don't seem to do much compared to the original insoles in my lightweight trail runners. Specifically, my plantar fasciitis problem always seems worse after a hike with these over some other brands like Superfeet. I won't be buying these again. ... show more
