The prongs are all plastic so they have to fit precisely into each hole just to hold but once you get it these hold amazingly well. These are not bad but definitely not meant for sturdy tarps. You cannot apply these to the more sturdy tops because the have a thicker edging around the boarder and these will not close around it.

It did not work. Difficult /Impossible to I tall and lock the clips. Just finally used small zip ties and they work and cost much less Save your money and time
