I gave this automatic litter box as a gift to my friend, who has two cats and always complains about scooping. At first he kind of laughed and said it looked like a spaceship, but after getting it set up, he texted me saying it was a total game-changer. It cleans itself after every use, so he does not have to deal with the smell or the mess. It actually looks pretty clean and modern, not like some bulky plastic box. It connects to an app, which I thought was kind of extra, but he uses it to track when the cats go and when to change the liner. It came with a couple rolls of bags, which made things easier right out of the box. The litter area is big enough for both his cats to use without crowding, and it has a safety sensor that stops the cleaning if a cat jumps in, which he liked since one of them is nosy and always getting in trouble. Couple of minor downsides—when it cleans, it makes a low motor sound. Not super loud, but not silent either. Also, getting the app set up took a little patience. Once it was working, though, he said it all ran pretty smooth. Definitely not a gift you just plug in and forget, but not too hard either. Overall, this was a solid gift. Useful, kind of high-tech, and it made his cat chores way easier. If you know someone who has cats and is tired of scooping, this thing actually helps, and it makes you look like a thoughtful genius instead of just bringing another cat toy they already have five of.

I have a cat that had been previously required 2 separate boxes to potty (I know princess behavior) one being the pellet system and the other using the fancy crystals. I was concerned that she may not transition well, not only was the required little for this different that what she was used to, the box itself being different that the top entry like she was used to. I set this one up near the other 2. She used it right away and after a few days stopped using the original 2 little boxes and had full transitioned to exclusively using this one. I think because it cleans after each use it keeps the odor away she likes it better! The box is in a small area and I can’t smell it at all! I will say that the clay littler tracks more than the pellets and crystals- but I purchased a step with a grate for litter to fall through and put it at the opening, and it helped a ton! There is an app that tracks how many times she uses the potty, for how long and if it cleaned after she used it. The last part is important because if the top is ajar slightly it will not clean- so when you empty and refill it, it is important that it is seated properly to ensure it cleans each time. I love this littler box and will be recommending to anyone who has a cat!

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I had some reservations because of some litter robots being dangerous for cats but I did my due diligence. This one does not close, your cat can get out at any time. It slowly rotates to the left when cleaning. It makes about a half circle. My cat is a little gremlin who likes to bap it when it starts cleaning and it instantly stops. He also gave me a mini heart attack once when he decided to hop in when it was cleaning. It instantly stopped. I honestly don’t know what goes on in my cat’s head most of the time but clearly, they are not intelligent thoughts. When it’s allowed to complete its cleaning cycle, it rotates to the left, straining the litter leaving the kitty poop and pee to fall down. Then it rotates back to the right allowing the litter to slowly roll back. The app weighs your cat each time he uses it and times how long he was in the litter box. It also lets you know when the safety shut off kicks in and when it completes its cleaning cycle. It’s honestly a steal for the 45% off I bought it for and super quiet Oh and it’s easy to clean

Alright, I've had cats my entire life. The only thing that I really don't look forward to is panning for cat turds before work 😐. I know I sure af am not going to want to pan in the evening after work. This thing is a game changer 🙌 👏 I have had it a week. Cleaned out the bag twice so far. I have 2 cats, and instead of having to clean 2 litter boxes, I just take the bag out and rebag. *[side note, the cat kinda pooped halfway between the back wall and the litter. I wear nitrile gloves and had to pull it off. That's been once.] I HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Setup was 2-3 minutes. App is easy. You can work it well without the app too from what I have seen. The litt³r r0bot is really nice, but not for $750+. Get you one of these! I promise you that you will appreciate it!

Well I have this 3 weeks now. When it works it is great. It seems to be off track a good bit of time. If the aleinment gets jarred a little bit it won't work. I have 2 cats. One is old and okay with the litter box. The younger one , 6 years old, is afraid of the litter box so when getting out seems to hit the top of the box and throws off the alienment and that's it. No more working until you fix it. It's pretty annoying. When it is working, removing the poop bag is easy.

Yall when I say this litter box has been life changing, I am not exaggerating. This is so amazing I bought another one. It is large and holds a lot so I forget to empty it sometimes. I have 5 cats and 2 of these and haven’t had to get a third. They took right to it but I did leave there regular litter box out for a bit. I scooped some of their old litter into this one to get them to go to it. It is very quiet and the pinch mechanism is very sensitive. The only issue I have had with it is that sometimes it will get stuck mid cycle when the anti pinch mechanism is triggered. All I do is do a reset from the app. Planning on going on vacation and will put ring cameras in front of each one so I can monitor and reset from another location if need be. Get one of these and such a great price!!
