This is great, but it is a little bit small. My cat is small too, so it works out, and she has another one so no issues in adding this one to it. It's easy to empty, I use the same bags as her other one (generic is cheaper and easier to use than the branded bags so far!). Easy to set up, especially compared to the other one she has that was extremely well rated. It's nice and no concerns so far, it's holding up well. My only reason to take a star off is the size. It has a large footprint but small area for her to use and get in and out, and again, she's small. For a larger cat, I don't think this would work. It's not cute, but it's a litter box so that's kind of normal. Definitely worth it for the peace of mind.

Moving from a non-automatic litter box to this Ziluce self-cleaning litter box feels like entering a whole new world, it’s honestly 100% life-changing. It was very easy to set up right out of the box, and it runs very quietly, which I really appreciate. It's a reasonable size for a fully automated unit. Both my large cat (14 lb) and my small cat (8 lb) fit in it easily, and neither one has had any problem using it. Even my smaller cat, who is a bit of a nervous nellie, adjusted to it quickly and without any issues. The app seems fine, but we don’t really use it much since we’re home a lot and can keep an eye on things ourselves. There are a couple of small downsides. It’s a little hard to tell when the waste drawer is full, and while it’s called “self-cleaning,” it’s not completely hands-off. Sometimes the waste will stick to the side when the drum turns, and that has to be manually cleaned. Overall, though, this has been a huge improvement for us, and both cats are using it comfortably.

This self-cleaning litter box has been a great upgrade from my old fashioned covered cat litter box. It has made the daily maintenance of keeping an indoor cat manageable and more civilized. The automatic cleaning system works great! It can be controlled and adjusted from the front panel, but the app is a must…as it does more, like keeping track of your cat’s weight and potty habits and setting the time frequency between bag emptying. It should be noted that this litter box is on the smaller side, a huge plus for smaller places…but it means most larger cats probably won’t be comfortable using it. Also, like most automatic boxes, or new things in general, it can take cats a while to adjust to going into an enclosed box to potty, especially a box they’ve seen moving and making noises. 😬😉. Once your cat conquers their fear and starts using it, you’ll find the odor control of this box superior to typical litter boxes…waste is cleared as quickly as it is produced and sent to a hidden bag. Additionally, an enclosed box helps cut down on the messiness caused from a cat’s instinctual digging, keeping it more contained than a traditional litter box. There is also a very cool litter mat included that sits in front of the box to catch litter that is either kicked or tracked out. (Please note that this box requires the use of mineral or bentonite clumping litter). Some of the things I love about this litter box is that it has a small footprint and it is attractive… and that it is a quality item. In terms of durability, it feels solid and well-made, and it’s easy to take apart and clean. Considering the features and convenience, this litter box offers good value for money. If you have a small or medium sized indoor cat, this box is superior to traditional litter boxes in cleanliness and odor control…it it is a great one-time investment. Highly recommended!

Setup for this automatic cat litter box was pretty easy and didn’t take long at all. The bigger challenge was actually getting my cat comfortable using it, which took some patience and adjustment time. Once everything is up and running, the built-in litter level lines are really helpful. They make it easy to see when you need to add more litter and help keep the system working properly without guesswork. This type of litter box definitely won’t be the right fit for every cat, but if your cat adapts to it, it can be a huge convenience. The self-cleaning feature makes a noticeable difference in daily maintenance and helps reduce odors compared to traditional litter boxes I’ve used in the past. It is a pricey investment, and one important thing to note is the weight limit it’s recommended for cats up to about 17 lbs, so that’s something to keep in mind depending on your pet. Overall, if your cat is willing to use it, this can be a real upgrade in convenience and cleanliness for managing litter box maintenance.

I had high hopes for this automatic self cleaning litter box, but unfortunately it hasn’t worked out for us at all. The biggest issue is the size as both the entrance and the interior space are simply too small for an average cat. We have two younger, smaller cats (around 3 years old), and even they won’t go inside. When they peek in, it’s clear there isn’t enough room for them to comfortably enter or turn around. We even tried encouraging them by placing their favourite toys inside, but they never attempted to use it. After about a week, they just walk past it completely. In my opinion, this would be better suited as a training litter box for kittens rather than something for regular adult cats. Another concern is that it doesn’t seem to have a sensor to detect if a cat is inside. The instructions mention that the slow spinning is "safe" even if a cat is in there, but I’m not comfortable with that. It can still move while occupied and I’d be worried about litter or dust getting on my cat during the cleaning cycle. I’ll be honest, I don’t really understand how this works for others since based on the size alone, I genuinely can’t see how most cats would be able to use it comfortably. At around $300 at the time when we got this, this definitely didn’t feel worth it for us. I don’t usually like leaving negative reviews, but I wanted to share my honest experience in case it helps others decide. Overall, this just wasn’t practical for our cats and the size and design makes it unsuitable for typical use. I do not recommend this automatic self cleaning litter box at all!

This is my first automated self-cleaning litterbox so I don't have the perspective of trying other brands. This was quite easy to set up and use. So, probably like all round automated litter systems, it's a slowly rotating drum that filters all the litter and anything solid gets shunted into the bag while the unsullied litter returns to the base. Because of a possible issue where a cat may kick litter out of the drum that can fall into the base area and gum up the mechanism, they provide a sort of barrier that works well but you do have to brush the litter back into the drum. The operation is very quiet, and the cat we hoped would use it (he's super-fussy and won't pee in the litterbox if it's not perfectly pristine) has been using it without even being prompted. It operates very quietly, which is great. It also seems pretty durable. My only complaint is that some of the most important controls requires you to install an app. The control panel on the front has a lot of useful functions, but not all of them. For example, after only two days (and three uses by the cat), the indicator light that the bag needs to be changed came on. The manual says that setting the threshold for this depends on how many cats use it and how it gets used...but I have to install the app to change the setting. So, I'm manually checking the bag every day to see if it's needs to get changed. I will eventually give up and get the app. Overall, though, I'm very happy to have it.

I've been using this litter box for a couple weeks now. Although it doesn't have as many features and bells and whistles as my other automatic litter box, it also retails for about $500 less than that one. I was really concerned about the size. I love that it has a smaller footprint but my cats have always used an open litter box whether it was the analog version or automatic. One of my cats is very tall. I was very happy to see that he entered and use this litter box without a problem. Both of my cats are around 13.5 lb give or take. One is very tall and the other is very short but chunky. Both of them use the box without a problem. I like that there is a sterilizing cycle after cleaning and I have it programmed to deodorize at 3:00 a.m. everyday. It does weigh your cats but since my cat's weigh about the same, I can't really tell which one of them use the box. The waste rolls into the holding bag as it should making disposal of used litter very easy and convenient. I can't tell you what a joy it is not to have to scoop litter every day or dump dirty litter even on a weekly basis. Since I have to automatic litter boxes, I only have to dump the litter bags every 3 weeks or so. I do like that the footprint is relatively small certainly compared to my Popur. The only con that I can see so far is that it's very dark inside and you can't see anything that's going on unless you squat way down and use a flashlight. I wish there was some way to have a motion activated waterproof light in the bin. I can't see the litter level, whether there's any wet litter stuck anywhere, and it's dark for my cats as well. Other than the darkness inside, this is a solid litter box that I'm happy with as a backup with my other open automatically litter box as their main box. I also think this is a good fit for someone that has space constraints since the footprint is smaller than many automatically litter boxes.
