I bought this 3 year protection plan and it was pulling teeth for the service company to come and fix my treadmill. I was supposed to receive three annual maintenance services and was told that my machine was not covered under this plan and they never should have come out. They will only come out to service my machine for $ 129.00 in addition to the plan I paid for. This is complete misrepresentation as the item on Amazon for this service plan does not indicate a model # or type of machine it will not cover. I am losing out on any benefit of purchasing this plan as they will not come out. This is what I was informed by a Barnett, a rep today 4/17/23 at 6:27PM. To consumers out there, please be careful and stay away from this protection plan, as you will not get anything from it. The company that issues the coverage is UTS through Nordictrack. Now I will have to get an independent service to come out and service my treadmill at an even more expensive rate. I thought this was a good plan to purchase and protect my machine, but I was completely scammed.

Good Solid product but there is an annoying clicking noise near the rear foot pedal that won't go away. We even returned the 1st one that they delivered and the 2nd one makes almost the same sound. Over-All though, it's a good machine and I get good use of it.

I originally purchased my Nordic Track Elliptical Machine and a 5 year Annual Maintenance plan from Sears. Being the industrious type, I elected to assemble the unit myself, which I did with only a last minute hand from a friend to place the machine where I wanted it, because I am a small person and the machine weighs more than I can lift easily. It was tricky installing the display unit, but in the end it came together nicely. I put over a thousand miles on my elliptical in less than 5 years, and I enjoyed using it. Every year I called for my free maintenance. Every year they came and repaired whatever needed to be repaired. I never got hassled by anyone. They mailed me the parts that corresponded to the symptoms I would describe. Then I contacted the contractor to make the appointment. Everyone was friendly and courteous. I never had any trouble with anyone. My only complaint is the same complaint I always have: My work schedule is difficult to accommodate. That being said, I always managed to get a convenient appointment. I am purchasing another Nordic Track machine. This time I'm going for the Treadmill. I am keeping the elliptical machine, too, because it's a fun machine. I would not dream of purchasing any exercise machine that didn't have the option for a maintenance agreement like this one, because the expense of keeping the machine in top shape wouldn't be affordable. I am accustomed to using an exercise machine that works the way it's supposed to work and that doesn't irritate or interfere with my workout with noise or disrepair. The contractors kept me going and they were great! I highly recommend this for anyone who might want to keep an exercise machine in good shape for the long run ( no pun intended).

Bought a $1,200 Nordic elliptical and purchased this 3 year annual Maintenance Plan. It appears the Nordic comes with a 2-year warranty that covers just about everything. This plan runs concurrently with Nordics manufacturer warranty - so I actually purchased 1 additional year of covered Labor for repairs and 2 years of additional coverage for parts. I thought I was buying 3 ADDITIONAL years of covered service. Read the Maintenance Plan carefully and see if this is what you're really looking for. I didn't think it was running concurrently with the manufacturer's warranty.
