I was skeptical because of the price but my two cats love it. It feels safe to let them use even without supervision because the sensors stop when it feels the cats. It is easy to set up and good quality for the money. Might get another one for upstairs idk. Also, doesn’t take up too much space. We put old litter to get the cats to use it and it took about a day for them to get comfortable. We use walnut litter and it works fine btw

We've had this litter box for a while now and we love it so much. It was easy for our cat to get used to, has safety sensors that make sure it doesnt harm any cats inside. It works very well and keeps the litter very clean and has saved us a ton on litter since we got it. The shuffle mode that happens first works so well to help the pee/poo not sink all the way to the bottom. For a single cat, we can easily go more than a week without emptying it. It keeps the odors locked in so it doesnt stink up my bathroom where its kept like the old style did when my husband inevitably forgot to scoop it for a few days. Its also very quiet which is an added bonus. The buttons are very simplified so we do keep the paperwork close by so we can quickly read up on how to change modes if needed since the buttons dont always make it super obvious but for how good this works I dont mind having to keep it nearby.

I'm so happy with this litter box that I already bought a 2nd one. It's simple, has great safety features, and works perfectly. There's no assembly. All you have to do is snap in the legs. I'm currently using Tidy Cat Lightweight and it's also working great, doesn't stick at all. I can see that I'll also use less litter and litter will last longer, which can be a huge monthly savings. If you're looking for a litter box- you'll make up for the extra cost with the lowered cost of kitty litter. It's 100% worth the investment. Update: i have 2 of these with 2 cats (also kept 1 regular litter box). I've been using these for about 1.5 months. They haven't been using the regular litter box this week. They only use these. It's clear they notice the cleanliness of the automatic boxes. They also find them very entertaining. The waste bins hold a lot too. They seem to be similar size as a large litter genie and it does equally good job of keeping the odor contained. If it starts to stink, it's because the bin was full. I used to clean 3 boxes daily. Now it looks like my cleaning days are over. I absolutely recommend this product.

As a cat person that already has a Litter Robot 4 (LR,) I'll leave a review in that lens. We've had a Litter Robot for over two years. We bought this unit for our indoor/outdoor cat (for cat lovers, the outside is completely enclosed, and he can't go anywhere) to be used in the event there is a hurricane or a really bad storm. He prefers to do his business outside. Our other two cats use the LR 4. Pros: -This unit very inexpensive compared to LR -Not as heavy as the LR -It holds more litter than the LR Cons: -Though not heavy, it's pretty bulky -The materials seem quite cheap and I am not sure how long it'll last. The snap that is used to secure the waste pit is very, very flimsy. So flimsy, the manufacturer sends you a replacement and seems to want to normalize the piece needing to be replaced over time -The legs were a major pain to put onto the unit correctly. The fit seemed off and I had to manually adjust several times. It still feels cheap and wobbly (not ideal for skittish cats) -This one has me a little worried: The liner is "replaceable" which has me a little scared. I don't know if this thing will leak over time or if it will hold up. The liner material isn't heavy duty like LR's. It's more of a soft material. (LR 4 has a very, very thick rubbery material in the drum and doesn't get sticky or wet). Hopeful there is no urine leakage -The sliding waste pit that goes under the unit is pretty clunky. It doesn't slide in such a way that you feel like you put it in correctly -Supposedly does not have any pinch points where people have posted some horror stories over Litter Robot harming their pets. We have not experienced that with our LR. It has detection sensors when the cats enter and exit the unit. I could see young curious kittens possibly having an issue with LR, but as they age, they don't really play in the box or care. They use the unit and move onto more interesting things Observations (Could be Pros or Cons, depending on what you like): -It doesn't have a mobile app. I actually like the mobile app that LR has because it gives you a rough approximation of your cat's weight, number of scoops, litter levels, etc. LR doesn't need wi-fi to function as this manufacturer intimates. You only need wi-fi for LR if you plan to use the app -It's an open top litter box. If you have dogs or a cat that likes kicking litter, you probably will have a mess with this unit. Our cats have never had any issue with the LR accommodating large cats. One of our cats was over 17 pounds before we put him on a diet and he had no issues using the LR Overall, I'd recommend the Litter Robot over this unit; however, if money is tight, you would be better off with buying this unit instead of going with manual scoop for so many reasons (hygiene, ease of cleaning, less smell).

This review is based on 1 week usage of this automatic litter box. I will list a few pros and cons that I have noticed so far.. Pros: -It is easy to fully deep clean the unit and replace litter. There will be a plastic shield provided in your order that you will place over the unit sifter, turn on the cleaning mode to run a cycle and it will dispose the full contents of the litter for you. You just have to tie up the garbage bag and throw it away. -Open entry that my cats love. We previously had a cylinder unit from a different company and my cats really struggled to get accustomed to it. I set this unit up and they easily took to it. - This is a half cylinder unit- as mentioned before, we previously had a cylinder unit that rotated counterclockwise- which caused a mess. If my cats used the bathroom, it would slam the waste to the top of the ceiling as it rotated, leaving residue on the ceiling of the unit that was difficult to clean out. This machine rotates backwards instead of side to side and does this at a very slow/gentle speed. Even if there are any contents that get on the top of it, the open feature of the litter box allows for a quick and easy wipe down instead of trying to stick your arm/hand in cylinder to where you can't see. -After a cat uses the bathroom, the machine will do a leveling mechanism that allows the litter to cover up any waste (incase the cat did not fully cover it up after they used the bathroom), then it will begin its full rotating cleaning cycle, I assume it does this to help prevent the possibility of waste getting on the top of the unit, since it would be covered with litter. Cons: -The unit does sit up pretty high, so when a cat leaves the unit, whether walking down a stepping stool or jumping out, it does cause litter to go everywhere. (You can hear in the video) -The area itself is a little smaller than I had hoped- my cats are around 10-12 pounds and as you see in the video, it is a little compacted for them to turn around. -Since the unit is a half unit and does not have 4 walls around it, if you have a cat that typically sprays or raises its butt during the bathroom, there could be a possibility that it could accidentally spray outside of the litter box. For example, in my picture provided- my female cat does raise sometimes when she uses the bathroom and sprayed into the sifter, which then caused clumps of litter to be stuck behind it. -This litter unit does not have an app, which would be handy if you wanted to keep track of your unit or your cat's bathroom habits. -The unit does not have an app or a button/light to notify you if you need to change the waste tray. You will have to check on it periodically to make sure it doesn't get too full. -I wish the sifter holes was a little narrower for the smaller clumps to get caught and disposed of. -As noticed in my picture, I did use blue masking tape around the seams where the tray is attached to the unit. I have seen multiple structures like this that people have complained of urine leaking through these seems, so I figured masking tape may prevent this problem from occurring. As of right now, the product does exactly as it advertises. Just like any product, there are some pros and cons. So far we are satisfied with this product and will continue to update this review as we continue.

OMG! This thing is amazing. 2 of my cats have taken to it immediately. Freaking them out at first when it started moving though, so put it on manual mode. You won't be disappointed with the product itself or the price. The sound is lower than expected. Going to buy a second one. Using Arm Hammer slide litter. Checked the waste drawer after it cleaned and clumps remained formed and no order. You only need to put on the legs, put a bag in the drawer, insert the drawer, then plug it in. DO NOT slide the unit far or the legs will come loose. Pick it up and place it. Don't get me wrong, it's very sturdy and well made. The legs just don't lock into place unless I've done it wrong. I am 62 and don't have the strength I used too... so... But hands down this works beautifully. Even though it's a tight fit, my 17 lb. 11 y/o big cat fills the entire area. However, because it's open he was able to turn around and face out to do his business. He's the most skittish of my 4 cats and was the first one to use it. I'm so glad the reviews were so detailed and full of info. I did get a step stool so my 15 y/o can get in, but she hasn't tried it yet. Get it, it's worth the money. And soooo much cheaper than the more expensive brands. More money doesn't me everything. I'll update my post if anytime changes - good or bad.

I love this litter box so much! I have three at the moment. I’ve never used automatics before and they’re pretty expensive but one of my friends (who has four cats) recommended these to me. I bought two of them about a month ago, one of my cats took to it immediately, the other (scaredy cat) took two ish weeks- but is now using it! I just purchased a third and got it set up today. I have them set on manual for now since we have a kitten and i wanted them all to feel super non freaked out before i let it do its own thing consistently (but I’ve tried it, works great). I love everything about it. I love having to scoop less. It’s super easy to deep clean, i just did ours since it’s been about a month.I could’ve probably waited another two weeks because the dump method works great to not break the clumps. Keeps litter fresher, longer compared to regular litter boxes and scooping.

The litter box works well for the solid waste, however my cats like to urinate on each side in the same spots which then clump to the surface of the flexible liner. The storage keeps the smell of the traped waste down but the stuck urine smells. I have washed the liner, but the problem keeps coming back. It may be a size thing of my cats also. It has gotten stuck a couple times, but only turns when no cat has been in it. It jumped a gear each time and just needed reset.
