I absolutely loved this product! I used the Schwarzkopf Keratin Blonde in shade 8.0 Medium Blonde, and the results were amazing. The color turned out beautiful and natural, with full gray coverage just like it promised. What really impressed me was the Bond Enforcing System—my hair didn’t feel damaged at all after coloring. In fact, it felt stronger and healthier. The anti-brass purple conditioner was a great bonus because it helped tone down any yellow or brassy tones, leaving my blonde color looking salon-fresh. I have used Schwarzkopf products since the pandemic and love them. My hair is naturally a very mousy brown, which has darkened from a dishwater blonde over the years. It’s just not a pretty color unfortunately, and thus I have been home coloring since as long as I can remember. Earlier this year I did a stint of red, but then was ready to lift back to blonde, which is my comfort zone. I used the Schwarzkopf BlondeMe blue tinted powder and developer to lift, and then let my hair rest. You can see in my first picture how dark my roots are, and the brassiness of my length. I used the Schwarzkopf 9.1 and let that sit on my roots for about 20mins, then worked it through my lengths, and gave an additional 10 mins processing time. I’m please with the way this blended my roots in, and the overall ash color. It’s a little more gray than I anticipated, but I know that it will fade. I personally like the severe ash color, and feel like it compliments my skin tone. This kit has everything I needed and is reasonably priced. I experienced no skin irritation, and feel like this left my hair in good condition after coloring. Again, I’ve been coloring my hair at home for probably 30 years, so I’m super comfortable with the experience, but I feel like, even if you’re a noob, these kits are simple to use, and I would encourage anyone to take the leap, if you’re looking for a reliable, consistently performing product. ... show more

I've been coloring my hair blonde without bleach for years. I've used the same L'Oreal extra light ash blonde les blonde always but lately I haven't been happy with the results so I decided to give brand and color an try and honestly I'm extremely impressed and happy with the color results. It blended my roots with my existing blonde hair naturally, without and delineation of my roots or brassiness. I would have given it five stars except that it burns a little and I was concerned by the sizzling sound it made on my hair. Other reviews said the smell of the purple conditioner was awful....it didn't bother me and I put other hair products in my hair so it didn't smell bad. I highly recommend this hair dye for those wanting to lightening hair for existing blondes. Will buy again ! ... show more

I had been using Madison Reed, but at $32 a box, finances have forced me to search other products. I read every review and the results before purchasing and Schwarzkopf is a great brand. The actual application was a lot easier than MR too. The only problem I have with this brand is it states no brass tones. Well I have natural med brown hair and red tones in it, so I relied on reviews and research before purchasing. It did turn my hair red at the top even though it had products to combat that. There wasn’t any ammonia smell or burn and it did make my hair shiny. It recommends with longer hair to purchase (2) boxes, but with not being sure how the product will turn out I stretched the product. Wish I had bought (2) boxes. The upside is application was super fast and easy and it does have easy directions. I probably would have done better with just a root app, but I felt I needed the whole head app. If you have red tones in your natural hair, this will definitely bring that out, but hubby likes it and says it’s not a unnatural shade and has dimension. I miss having $150 to have a stylist color and highlight, but with soaring prices everywhere, I haven’t had the luxury since early 2020 to afford that. I am on auto ship and just plan on root touch up next. Good product and price is nice 👍 ... show more

Wow this stuff is awesome! I wish I’d known about it years ago! My hair is a plain medium brown but I’m definitely meant to be a blonde. I typically do very heavy highlights to lighten it but I decided to see if I could get decent results going for all over lightening instead. I’m deducting a star because the formula burned my ears almost immediately (definitely put some petroleum jelly around your ears prior to dyeing) and started burning my scalp at the 30 min mark when I would’ve rather left it on for the full 45 min. I had to jump in the shower and rinse it out to stop the burning. I’m pretty happy with the results but my roots are VERY yellow, even after the anti brass conditioner. I purchased some Wella toner and developer, hopefully that solves the problem. Maybe I’ll try a whiter or more ash shade next time (this shade was pearl blonde). ... show more
