It's a very good gift for anyone introverted or creative that you know. If they are into journaling or bullet journaling (a freeform planner, basically) then this is also great for them. There are tons of stickers and papers you can write on, and they are all fairly thick and high quality. Most inks do not bleed on them. However some of the papers are larger than the journal you get (about the size of your hand) so you can cut them smaller or use them somewhere else, e.g. for writing a nice letter to someone. The notebook lies perfectly flat when you open it and the pages don't come up, which was very surprising. I did not expect such an amazing quality binding from this humble kit. The pages are all dotted grid printed in light 20% gray ink, so your writing stands out and the page doesn't look cluttered. The pages are made of smooth paper that will take to fountain pen ink very well. The book cover is made of high quality cardstock with fibers embedded in it, so you know it was a special type of decorative paper. The inks used to print everything are all very vibrant. Overall I really did not expect this level of amazing quality offered for only $20. I plan on getting one for my sister and another (in a different design) for myself. I hope this was helpful!

This kit is a dream for anyone that’s into journaling or other creative work. It basically has anything you need to make beautiful spreads. The theme is really beautiful and everything goes together well. It’s nice to have all the items in one kit instead of having to buy each supply separately. There’s a lot of papers and stickers, all very aesthetically pleasing and unique. The only things that were really repeats are the things in the bundled “note paper” group. I was also really impressed by the neat packaging, everything fits really nicely into a small box. This makes it pretty giftable if that’s what you’re looking for.

I really like this starter kit. It is cute and I love the color scheme. I'm new to scrapbooking and I'm always looking for creative outlets, so I'm sure I'll have fun with this. I think I expected the notebook to be larger than what it is, but it's still cute.
