I stumbled upon this umbrella and knew it was worth the longer shipping times (it took about 3 weeks to arrive). It is very nice and sturdy quality, I went for a lighter shade so that it will fade nicely. The shade keeps me much cooler and blocks the sun effectively. It really is a perfect neutral umbrella plus the scallop detailing brings a fun added visual interest that I love. For the last few years, I have wanted umbrellas like this and was so thrilled to find this one at a great price. When it arrived, it was well packaged, and I took it out and put it up and was happy with the quality. However, it looked way too busy, and took away from the look of my patio and house! So I returned it, and I’m going to order another one that is plain like the other three I already have! I obviously did not anticipate that this would be the situation as I was planning to order this one, and then 3 more to replace the plain ones! But it was too much! I wanted something that would remind me of a resort. This umbrella is perfect. It is heavy duty with a crank mechanism to open and tilt. It is a huge umbrella. I ordered 2. One for my patio table and one for. Base that is on wheels. (I ordered the base from Amazon). I also ordered an umbrella cover (from Amazon) to protect the color from fading. I LOVED this umbrella so much! The color and overall look was fantastic! Our only complaint is that it molded and stained with no way to clean sufficiently so not it looks gross. Only lasted two years and the second year turned a blind eye to the nasty stains
