Edit: leave it to my cat to be annoying lol..the sealing strips that go on the inside, are pointless if you have a rambunctious orange cat! He purposely pulls them out and they become an issue. I have removed them. Works decently without them. Definitely need a better design. This was well worth the money! The material is lovely and sturdy. It was easy to put together, much bigger than my other one, and my cat immediately used it without being cramped. The drawer on the bottom isn't loose at all and easily stays in place. The sides lock together easily and to the base. The top can be removed for cleaning and the drawer makes it easy to scoop. I recommend this for anyone with a bigger cat or multiple cats.

I love this litter box. It really keeps the litter contained. My cats are getting used to it however, they are very clever. They have figured out how to take the corner seals out. I had to return and re-order due to damage. The bottom plate was broken. When I received the replacement, one of the side tabs was broken. I was able to use both to get all the parts I needed. Maybe they need to improve the packaging. It is a little complicated to put together and the instructions are lacking clarity.

Wow! I was really hoping that this cat litter box will be useful. My cat is quite wild who sprays, so I need to have a closed box--currently using iglu. I was hoping that this will solve the problem also with tracking. My first problem was that the box is quite flimsy. Which may or may not be OK if you have a heavy cat or a wild one that jumps around in a litter box. The second, and the biggest problem is that the cat can go into the litter box via the door flap but can't come out that way. It literally has to jump to the top through a hole. I understand that the benefit is/would be that the top is full of little holes so the litter can fall back and it reduces the tracking, but it assumes that all cats will know what to do and not panic inside the litter box! I have not tried it, since I took it apart and sent it back right away, but I could just see my cat scratching the closed door flap to get out! While many cats like to be inside a box, my cat was never attracted to boxes and so I didn't see her inside a box feeling comfortable knowing she couldn't come out the way she went in. I was very disappointed.

I liked the ease of sliding the drawer out to clean it but didn’t like all the litter that went everywhere when sliding it out. Also the pee gets into crevices within the box.and then it smells. when you take it out to hose it down it just falls apart and you have to be careful that it doesn’t unsnap apart on the way outside to clean it. i don’t recommend this litter box for those reasons.

I purchased this litter box mainly because of 2 factors: the top entry (I prefer it because I think it's the best kind of litter box to help with smell) and because of the size (I have a large cat who didn't cover up after he did his business in the previous litter box because it was too small. The fact that it was supposedly leak proof and easy to clean were 2 perks that I could get behind. But let me tell you, it's NOT EASY TO CLEAN. Sure, the tray is nice when you're just scooping out the bits you need. But underneath the tray usually has tons of old pee and litter that has leaked through every time I pull the tray out. Additionally, the design is flawed in that litter gets stuck in the nooks and crannies and it's so hard to get out. The only effective way I've found that works is pulling the whole litter box apart and spraying down each piece in the shower. The scent is okay. And the size is great. But I would not purchase again because the maintenance is just not worth it.
