Description

Bring the gym home with REP Based in Colorado, REP Fitness was founded by two gym-loving brothers in 2012. From adjustable benches to plyoboxes and dumbbell sets, we offer a full line of gym gear designed by in-house, weightlifting engineers for both commercial and home gyms. Our gear is designed for modern training and will stand by you on your hardest day. Here at REP we believe that getting a PR is hard, but getting great gear shouldn't be. Brothers Ryan and Shane Mcgrotty started REP in Longmont, Colorado, in a 1,200-square-foot retail storefront with a two-car garage. They filled it with a few pieces of equipment and stacked bumper plates to the ceiling in the closet. Their shop wasn’t a big, flashy space, but even in the humble garage, the brothers’ goal was to see people's eyes light up when they walked into the space. They wanted to bring back the art of customer experience. They also wanted to sell high-quality gear they would (and did) buy, use, and love themselves. Our respect for those who provide our freedom and security is what drove our desire to give back. In 2023, we chose to pledge $100,000 to three great charities that help military and first responder's families. In this way we can ensure the money we give goes to those with the greatest need, and continues our tradition of honoring those who serve our nation and our community. The three charities that we donated to (and encourage you to check out) are: - The First Responders Children's Foundation - Folds of Honor - Gary Sinise Foundation The Rep AB-3100 Flat/Incline Adjustable Bench is designed to combine the utility and safety of a 1,000 lb rated bench with affordability. This heavy-duty FI adjustable bench also has a tube support in the flat position for even more peace of mind as the weights get heavy. The AB-3100 uses the same padding materials as our popular AB-3000 FID Bench, so you can rest assured that the pad will be comfortable yet firm enough to support heavy weight, while the vinyl cover is durable, slip-resistant, and easy to keep clean. Now, the latest version of our bench includes new upgrades!: 1) Rubber feet on all 3 contact points for increased stability and less wear on floors. 2) Re-designed adjustment ladder for easier adjustment and rubber coated contact for less noise. 3) Improved rear base design for easier assembly. 4) Improved hinge design where the seat meets the back pad. We redesigned our bench to be more stable by adding rubber feet to all three contact points. The handle is now angled to make moving it around even easier. The heavy-duty frame is made from variable thickness 14 to 4 gauge square steel tubing - strongest where you need it most, while keeping the bench light enough to move easily. 6 different ladder adjustments and 3 different seat positions give you a full range of angles from flat to 85 degrees of incline. Rubber coating on the ladder pegs reduces noise and vibration. The generous back pad is 11.5" wide at the shoulders and sits 17.5" off the floor when flat. Both the seat and back pads are designed to have minimal gap at all angles. Wheels on the rear make it easy to transport by lifting the convenient handle on the front of the bench. This bench has a lower profile than our popular AB-3000 and will take up minimal floor space. Great for smaller commercial gyms or home gyms. Rep Fitness is a REAL fitness equipment company based in Colorado! Not only do we make great gear, but we use it too! We never cut corners on quality and never will. Our gear is designed for modern training regimens and will stand by you on your hardest day. Getting a PR is hard, but getting great gear shouldn't be. We carry a full line of modern fitness gear from adjustable benches to kettlebells. Our mission is to provide high value fitness equipment with Trust, Expertise and Innovation. We use the gear ourselves and stand behind it 100%.

Great, well-built bench!
This is a very well constructed bench! All powder coated steel and very durable! I had a flat bench for many years, and was looking for an adjustable one so that I could add in some different movements into my workout. Saw this one and decided to give it a shot. Ordered it, and it arrived just a couple days later! The box was heavy (as to be expected) but set up was very simple and straight forward. It came with everything you needed to set the bench up, including two wrenches for tightening all the bolts. The entire thing came broken down into about 5 pieces. Assembly only required tightening 8 or so bolts. I used the wrenches it came with and they worked great, although I am sure a socket wrench could have saved me a little bit of time. Only took about 20 minutes to have it put together and ready for use! After having used it multiple times now, I am still extremely pleased with the purchase. There is absolutely no wobble on the bench. This thing is built very sturdy! With a 1000 lbs capacity, I can do any lift I want without worrying about anything breaking. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a well built, adjustable bench! ... show more

Defective Back Pad
I generally order all my home gym equipment from Rogue and have had zero issues with their top quality equipment. That said, I didn’t relish the idea of spending 600-1000 on a bench and shipping. I spent a few weeks researching incline benches and this seemed to have some solid reviews. The product arrived a few days late due to a supposed shipping delay which is fine. It wasn’t damaged on the shipping process that I can tell. The bench seems sturdy and well built for the most part. However, I haven’t been able to use it. The assembly went smooth enough until I tried to screw in the back pad bolts. I tried inserting them very carefully but they wouldn’t take no matter what I did. I figured there must be some metal spurring in the way and used a regular ratchet wrench to screw the bolts in. Each of the three went about halfway before the metal boring broke free from the plywood inside the pad. Now I am unable to remove the pad without cutting the bolts. This only happened with the back pad. The seat pad went on smoothly with no issues, which makes me think the back pad is defective. At any rate, I sent an email to Rep Fitness yesterday and I’m still waiting for a response. I will update this review when they resolve this issue. Update: the company responded within on business day and mailed me a new back pad and hardware at no cost. As I believe customer service is dependent on how a company responds when something goes wrong, I give them an A+. Now that I have had a few chances to use the bench I can say it’s solid and close to commercial quality. Feels comparable to Rogue. I am very satisfied with the purchase and the price. ... show more

Worth the money for certain
I'm setting up a garage gym and must have researched 100 different benches. I'm trying to do it on the cheap so I initially had a <$100 bench picked out, but after some further consideration decided to spend the extra money on the bench, which will be a staple of my home gym and used constantly. That said, this bench is everything you could want without having to spend hundreds more. Pros: The bench is plenty wide without being bulky or burdensome. The material is grippy unlike your slick commercial gym benches, and offers a pretty wide array of incline options (bench does not decline), and the peg and hook system to change between levels is quick and easy vs the pin systems I've used in the past. The bottom seat portion also had 3 settings, flat and 2 incline positions (also peg and hook). I do a lot of seated shoulder pressing and I've used benches in the past that were too flat and I found myself slipping forward on the seat under weight. It doesn't happen at all with this bench, and I typically only have it on the first incline option. The cushion is real firm without feeling uncomfortable, so I feel plenty stable under load without feeling like I'm on a cement floor. The nice big handle at the bottom and the rear wheels allow me to move the bench around freely, which was a must due to the confined space I have for the gym. Also, the gap between the top and bottom seat when laid flat is the smallest I could find in this price range. There are some "no gap" benches out there, but you're going to pay a lot more for what I'd consider a minimal difference. I've flat benched plenty on this bench and haven't once noticed the minimal gap. No need to stuff a towel in there as I've seen some reviewers do with other benches in this price range. Cons: The only con I could find is that the front foot stabilizer is only a single foot. I like to do barbell hip thrusts while leaning against a bench the long way, and if I do that without pushing the bench against the wall it will tip over. Not a big deal for me since I have a wall right there to push it up against, but just something to consider if you do the same. I lean on the bench for other exercises such as dumbbell rows and it doesn't budge, it's just this one particular application. Overall, if you intend putting up some decent weight on a bench, it's hard to beat this bench in this price range. Well worth the extra $100 over a cheap flimsy bench, with near quality and functionality of ones that cost several hundred more. ... show more

Solid Bench at a Great Price
After using the same Bodysmith (Parabody) FID bench for the past 15 years, I decided to invest in a newer model. I love the 17" height of my old bench but the padding has seen better days and since I seldom use the decline function, I wanted a bench with a narrower seat pad for better leg/feet placement when benching and especially doing heavy dumbbell work. I did consider the Rep AB-3000 FID but as I stated above, I wanted to avoid a decline bench with the wide seat pad. Other potential candidates include the Rogue 2.0 and Legend 3103 adjustable benches. When the Rep AB-3100 V2 came out recently, it became the obvious "value" choice besides offering comparable or better features than the Rogue and Legend models. More on this later in my review. After using the bench for the past few weeks I feel i can make an honest assessment of the pros and cons - for my particular needs. The Pros: 1. 16 7/8" flat height. This is perhaps the most important factor for me. I am 5'7" and my wife and daughters (who also use my home gym) are even shorter. I had a newer Body Solid bench that I seldom used, mostly because of the 20" height (as well as the large seat gap). 2. The narrow seat pad. Again, I don't use the decline function and wanted to avoid the wide seat width. 3. Simple and sturdy ladder adjustment. Coupled with the vertical support in the flat position, this is just a rock solid bench. I have benched 405# at my 200# bodyweight and it feels very solid and planted. 4. Minimal 1.5" seat gap. I hardly notice this gap when doing flat work. It is actually slightly smaller than the Rogue 2.0 I used in the past. 5. Fairly wide 11.5" (maximum) pad width. While a competition bench is 12" in width, this bench is wide enough for my use. Compares well to the 11.25" width for the Rogue 2.0 and better than the 10.25" width of the Legend model. I do wish it measured 11.5" over the entire length of the pad however. 6. Functional wheels. These are larger and actually more usable than the smaller wheels on the Rogue 2.0 7. Value price. I probably shouldn't admit this, but I would have paid more (up to $300) for this bench. I live in Ohio and the Rogue 2.0 would have cost me $726 including shipping and tax. The Legend model is not much less. The Cons: 1. Limited seat angle positions. Just like the Rogue 2.0, the seat does not incline enough for use at moderate bench incline angles. While it is usable, a steeper seat angle would enhance stability when using the narrower incline angles. The Legend bench has a definite advantage here. 2. Minimum 30 degree incline angle. While this angle is fine for most of my incline work, I do like the option of a 15 - 20 degree angle as well. Both the Rogue and Legend models have this feature, as does the Rep AB-3000. 3. Near 90 degree high setting. While the Rep indicates their AB-3000 having an 85 degree setting, I measured 89 degrees on this model. Rep could have easily added another shallower angle and adjusted the high angle to 85 degrees by simple changes to the ladder position Fit and finish were fine for a bench in this price range. I did have an issue with the foam on the seat cushion. It seemed to be cut at an incorrect angle on one side with a noticeable absence of foam on one end of the seat pad. After contacting Rep and sending some photos, they promptly sent me a replacement pad. So all and all I am very satisfied with this bench. While higher end benches like the Rogue and Legend have neater welds, better coatings, and nicer padding....IMO they are not worth more than three times what Rep charges for this model. I don't know of any other flat/incline bench even close in price that can match up to this Rep model. I think most home gym owners will be happy with this bench. ... show more

Quality
Color: Red
I loved this bench from the moment I opened the box. You can tell immediately that REP put real thought into every detail—from the construction and design to the surprisingly thoughtful packaging. This is clearly a high-quality product. Assembly couldn’t have been easier, and once assembled, the bench feels incredibly sturdy and solid. It’s obvious they didn’t cut corners anywhere. One tiny detail really captures the bigger point: instead of throwing the assembly hardware into a flimsy plastic bag, REP packages it in a resealable zip-top pouch. It’s such a small thing, but it tells you everything about the company’s attention to detail and commitment to quality. This is the opposite of the cheap, disposable-feeling equipment you see in so many other products. I’m going to happily have to put in some hard work in my new home gym to match the level of quality that went into this piece of equipment! ... show more
