I have some hearing issues with my right ear. What happens is that when someone says something to me from my right, I have to ask them to repeat it as I turn to have my left ear catch what was said. It's a real pain when I'm in a meeting room at a table. I ordered this hearing assistant to see if it would help. In the few meetings I've used it in this aid has helped. It really has surpassed my expectations. It's easy to use and wraps well behind the ear. Most people think it's for my phone, as 'real' hearing aids are so tiny these days. It's easy to keep it off until I need it. It's just a matter of pushing the on switch at the base. I can adjust the volume as needed just as easy. When charged the battery lasts a long time. This is a great little hearing aid. Be aware that it's just 1 unit. It seems like a decent quality hearing aid , and comes Nice nice nicely shipped and protected. Charging is very easy with a simple USB connection, and a charge lasts a good while. Many over the counter hearing aids are for only mild to medium hearing loss, but this unit is for more severe cases. The volume wheel goes from 1 to 4 and at its highest level the output is a very loud. It may squeal at first but as soon as you get a snug connection in your ear the squealing will go away. There is a mode button but truthfully I did not notice any difference when pressing it. And the labeling of the on/off switch with "O" and "N" didn't make a lot of sense, but all in all this is a great OTC option. ... show more

Wow! This rechargeable hearing aid is insanely good! It's crazy how much stuff has changed since I was a child. I remember hearing aids being thousands of dollars and they needed to be adjusted quite often and if it was lost or damaged you were in big trouble! Not anymore with the way technology is nowadays! These are insanely good and accurate! They sound great even on the lowest setting and really do amplify every sound to be able to hear better! I am very impressed! I got this because sometimes I have a hard time hearing what others are saying, and it works great. It charged quickly and definitely magnified the sound around me. I feel that it would be great for someone with mild to moderate hearing loss, who needs just that extra little boost to be able to hear people. It comes with a nice carrying case, some extra tips, and a cleaning brush, as well as a charging cable. I would have preferred it be slightly smaller, but that is not a big deal. ... show more

I'm impressed. It charged quickly and it works well. It's not going to beat the more expensive/fancy ones at specialty stores, but in a pinch this does the job.
