I bought this very reasonably priced and highly rated hearing amplifier for my 94 year old mother, who was so frustrated with her doctor recommended $5,000 hearing aid that she stopped using it altogether. She could never get the expensive aid balanced right for her, and had trouble differentiating background sounds the aid was targeting from the conversation directly in front of her! After numerous unsuccessful appointments to correct the problem, she resigned herself that her problem was unfixable and started isolating more, avoiding social interaction because she couldn't follow her friends conversations. I am happy to report my mom's social life has been restored with the help of these amplifiers, with their simple, easy to use and intuitive controls. They are so superior to her old hearing aids that it's almost unbelievable, given that these are literally 1/15th the cost! Life changing and life affirming! Highly recommend.

OK but still noisy from out side sounds

I am astounded with quality of sound. Hearing sounds I haven't heard in years. I have a history of at least 7 sets of hearing aids and the most expensive was almost 5 grand. Recently my in top ten went out with high frequency. So I did a lot of research on the net. Found another in top ten highly rated and bought the expensive set. Spent several hours on and called for help and the short story I returned the aids After more research found these neosonic and was very impressed with ratings especially looking at hundreds on net. Yes many over a few days. I was desperate and didn't intend to be suckered again by high price aids. Now I am hearing extremely well on the phone with tv with conversations and seldom age people to repeat what they say or say huh often I am very happy to be blessed with sound again. Thanks for Newton if and B10 model my life is going to change even more . Advice read the instructions and follow closely using the tips given. Make very sure your domes fit you. The power of sound works best with the best fitting dome. Also I set my program first for each ear then the sound for each ear. The tip to bend your ear is very important. Thank you folks at Nelson if for serving others with a gift of sound to improve my daily living.

These did not want to stay in. Lost one in the first hour. Fortunately it was in our home. They just amplify sound which does let you clarify the words someone is saying. I wanted them for TV but the background music on shows overrode the words. I would not recommend.

Poor sound quality. Not very effective for improving hearing. Not comfortable to wear. The fit was not right. The charge would not even last. They kept falling out. I bought these as a cheapskate option to a prescription audiologist brand's that cost 10 times more than these. What junk. Boy was I wrong to waste money on these OTC hearing aids. Too bad these were beyond the return date. I learned a $300 lesson. I finally found a professional who tested my hearing then offered a custom ear fit and custom sound profile to replace the frequencies that I could not hear. The difference is like night and day. I normally not a dramatic person, but the new aids changed my life. I was startled by the "new" sounds I had been missing. Support from the provider is the key to happiness with your hearing aids. Followup visits are usually included in the purchase price, as you will need the provider to fine tune the aids as you adjust to them. I ended up purchasing the PHONAC brand an over the ear type hearing aid through Audio-Nova in North Carolina. I have NO connection to the company. After several shopping trips to other locations I chose this company. I'm just very happy with the brand, support and the provider. FYI- I was not happy with the Costco Hearing centers. They seemed more interested in a sale rather than matching me with the right kind of hearing aid. Note- The PHONAC is not cheap. Be prepared to spend at least 3K. I know that's a lot of money, but after wearing them for awhile you will not regret the money you spent.

These are the best hearing aids I've used. I can actually hear conversations with people I am with. Two downsides, in busy, noisy places I actually have to turn them off because the lowest setting is not low enough (minor), the other thing is one of the tubes broke off the screw down piece that is attached to the amplifier within 3 months (major).

Great set of hearing aids for the money. Easy to use. The charge globe is unique. It's round and the top lid screws on and off. The charging globe actually has a battery in it that will charge the hearing aids up to 40 hours use. The hearing aids are magnetically connected to the charger and once they are removed the hearing aids turn on, so you don't have an on and off switch on them. They fit my ears well and stay in. Finally they are guaranteed for one year and have a 30 day return available on Amazon.

I have apparently been moderately deaf for a lot longer than I realized. I have a constant incessant ringing in my ears which is rather maddening. Husband insisted I visit an audiologist who did a thorough exam and said that hearing aids would help tremendously at a cost of $4,000!! I was shocked at the price and investigated what was available for less. I found these Neosonic aids and figured the price was right to try them. I CAN HEAR!!! THE RINGING IS GONE!!!! Hallelujah!!! A whole new world has opened up to me! Thank you so much Neosonic for making a wonderful product that os also affordable. I highly recommend these to anyone with mild to moderate hearing loss and ringing in the ears.
