Purchased my Flaygo hearing aids mainly for church. Solved my hearing problems, totally. Now I wear them for almost all environments. Really nice feature is the ability to adjust one ear sound over the other. If you turn your head to the left or to the right for better hearing, then you can adjust the " deafer " ear hearing to match the better one. I USE to say " pardon me " A LOT so that person would repeat their thought. That is use to say...get it? Had one minor issue which was easily corrected. Put both aids in my ears. The left stopped working within minutes...( huh...what the heck )...cleaned the magnetic end of the aid ( with the cloth provided in the kit ) and the magnetic area in the cradle. Plugged the cradle, with both hearing aids, allowed to charge overnight. Problem solved. Whenever I am about to purchase any item, I always read the reviews. Hope this one keeps a person with these difficulties from saying " pardon me " over and over!!

5 stars!!!!!!! These Flaygo hearing aids are AMAZING. I purchased these hearing aids for my 87 yr old father. My father had suffered from hearing loss for the last 18 months or so, and recently went in to an audiologist and it was confirmed he had 90% hearing loss in his left ear. My dad is a veteran and the VA will pay for hearing aids, but no telling how long it will take for him to get them...My father has also been diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer...the chemo will/can also cause hearing loss, so I wanted to get something right away, loss of hearing really impairs your quality of life, hearing loss has also been linked to dementia. I decided to look into OTC hearing aids and liked the reviews I saw for the Flaygo units. Ordered these HA's, the cost was very reasonable, $150. Now I admit I was a little concerned about how hard these hearing aids would be to set up, most things nowadays, the writing is so small on the instruction, the instructions are confusing and/or incomplete, just a pain to figure out, and I have no experience with hearing aids. I took them out of the box at my house, they were 98% charged out of the box, which was nice. I then took them over to my dad at the nursing home. We opened up the case, we were able to see both lft. and rgt ear pieces. The instructions were clear, we turned them on, my pop put one in his ear (the bad ear) we followed the instructions on the mode and the vol. control and OMG, I wish I would have videoed my dads face <3 He could not believe it, he was stunned and over the moon happy. He kept calling all the CNAs in to tell them he could hear now!! These hearing aids are a game changer for sure!!! My pop keeps thanking me for getting them for him. Now his roommate wants some, and I talked about it on facebook and another friend is getting a pair for her father. These hearing aids seem to be pretty well made, looks like they hold a charge for good long while, they're super easy to use, for $150 you can't beat it. Even if they only lasted a year it would be worth it, heck just get another pair...Of course I hope he gets a few years wear out of them, but regardless it was worth it just to see the smile on my dads face. Highly recommend!!!!

These hearing aids are comfortable and effective. They are noticeably superior to the in-the-ear types. also, the volume range can be adjusted to very much louder at the top of the range than most hearing aids: ideal for severe hearing loss.

These hearing aids are great, they’re a bit bigger than I had thought they’d be, but they work great , they are very easy to use, the noise cancellation is wonderful, I really needed that and the clarity is fantastic. . I'm a first time user, and it impressed me from the start. Once I got used to wearing them I was hearing things I didn't even know I was missing. I was told that some of these thing will give you a high pitch sound like feedback from an old guitar amplifier, thankfully they haven't done that, they're comfortable and stay put while I do my chores. However it did take me some time to get used to them. About two weeks. They charge fast, and the selection of various size bufs allowed a perfect fit. I actually forget they're in sometimes. And for the price? I think I got more than my money worth. Good product. And highly recommended.

For me, the sound quality was low on this. Felt like I had a tin can with a string when I talked. It whistled in my ears and other people could hear it. I also did not like the volume control. I like a wheel that you turn up when you need to. Keep it simple is my motto. In church, the music and singing can get really loud. If it is simple to work then I don't hurt my ears very long by turning the volume down quickly. The return was easy, and I have already received my credit for this item. The problem is the item and not the seller. I don't believe that every amplifier is for everyone. I have also learned to only read reviews for people who actually use the product. The person that buys for someone else does not have hearing issues and can not say how it really works for their loved one. Again, this is not about the seller, it is about the product.
