Very large unit compared to my other unit that was also 40 amp. Better display by a long shot looks modern and the hanging bracket is also very neat. J1772 connection is also well crafted and the unit has an emergency shut down button on the side. and a great and the app is very easy to set up and gives a lot of data including the option to export charge history monthly, quarterly, 6 month and 12. I’m using 50 amp plug but also the option to hard wire. It’s day 1 but out the box this looks like a great value charger. The quality of the unit took me by surprise I hope it continues to deliver.

The app works well. The amperage is easy to adjust. The display and logs are easy to read and understand. The only thing that keeps me from giving it 5 stars is the charger cable. It gets very stiff in colder weather. Its outer jacket is plastic or vinyl of some sort. It’s definitely not a SO cord like I put on it for the power cord.

The media could not be loaded. This is a good charger for your EV. Some of the high points... * 25 foot cable. Very thick - doesn't really get warm during charging. * 2.5 foot plug cable allowing for more flexibility on placement of unit on wall * App is useful enough and functions as it should. * Excellent customer service. Was able to get help via email within 24 hours of initial contact. Overall, I have no complaints about this unit. Been using it for a few weeks now and it's been great.

This Level 2 EV charger from QIAO is a high-quality product. The product packaging is branded with a nice-looking purple box, and everything is safely packed inside. It comes with a charger, a NEMA 15-50 plug, a 25+ ft charging cable, J1772 connector with wall mounts. The display on the charger looks great and gives useful charging info. The app gives charger info and lets me set the schedule and rate. Everything about this charger from the physical device to the app looks and feels great.

I settled on the Nema 14-50 charger for it's adaptability. 48 amps is bounty quickly enough for my family and presumably for a great many people, yet on the off chance that your continually in a hurry, perhaps designing is smarter to draw nearer to 50 amp. We introduced it on a 60 amp breaker outlet as suggested by producer. The EVSE itself is excellent and truly sturdy. Establishment was direct and it was matched with the application in 30 seconds. The unit took me under 1 hour to introduce and set up once I finished adding the 60 Amp breaker and outlet, which required 4 hours. I have experience with electrical designing and a lot of involvement dealing with electrical circuits.
