I don’t know about a lot of you, but I was born into a hearing impaired family. I was born DEAF, deaf, and CODA. I have had hearing problems my whole life, but despite the genetics that run in my family, on both sides, I have never needed a hearing aid. ASL only works when the people you are talking to also know ASL. Our insurance does not cover hearing aids and I needed something to help me out because the last couple of years my hearing has declined rapidly and I am now at over three quarter hearing loss. Most of my problems are in my right ear and I use this Flaygo hearing aid to get me the hearing I need to function out there in the world where most people don’t know ASL and I am tired of saying, “Huh?’, and people getting angry because I can’t hear them. It is simple and goes directly over my ear and the smaller part directly into my ear canal. I switch it on at low volume and wait for ten seconds. Once it kicks in, I adjust the volume and away I go. I don’t even notice it is there most of the time. It charges quickly and the charge lasts for a very long time and it adapts to indoor vs outdoor noises to help cancel out background ambient noise.

We moved my grandmother in with us and while her left ear hears decent, its her right that she has problems with. We are constantly repeating ourselves. I bought this hoping it would help. Not only does she not mind wearing it but it sits on and around her ear without causing any irritation at all. She's able to adjust the hearing setting herself too. We did have to show her but now that she's been wearing it for almost 2 months now, she's able to do it herself. She will wear this around the house, when we go shopping and even at family functions. Its hardly noticeable and she can finally hear everyone. I love that it did come with batteries already because she was able to use this right out of the package. The batteries really do have a long life too because its still the same ones from when they were delivered that are inside.

The hearing aid fits as it should and is easy to adjust the volume as you need. It holds a decent charge so no worry of dieing quickly. It's actually comfortable once you get use to it. The material is very durable as well so no risk of breaking easily.

I requested this Flaygo hearing aid for my elderly relative this time when I visited home, and they were very satisfied with it. The sound quality of this hearing aid is very stable, without any sudden bursts of noise. It meets daily needs and can switch between different modes. The battery charges quickly, and the hearing aid doesn't need to be left on constantly when not in use. Switching it on and off is simple, and they can do it without our assistance.
