    • A truly important and quality item!
My wife has been wearing Phonak hearing aids for years, courtesy of Kaiser. These are probably some of the finest devices on the market, and the company provides high quality in all of their products. That being said, over the time my wife has had and used her aids, I have had to do regular maintenance on her charging case, of all things. The aids are rechargeable (what a relief not to have to deal with those terrible and expensive little batteries!) and are charged by pushing them into the form fitting little spots inside this case. The need for maintenance comes about due to the fact that when you use something that fits closely to your skin, it picks up dead skin cells, body oils and earwax. When the aids are pushed down into the case to charge they do so by touching two very small exposed charge-points on the aids' case sides, to two thin charging conductors in the case's bottom. This works fine until all of that build up I mentioned earlier gets transferred to the conductors and stops the current that recharges the aid's batteries. It's not difficult to clean the conductors, but Phonak didn't go out of their way to help you do the job easily. They don't give you any tools to clean the conductors, and these thin (they're thin enough to almost qualify as "wires") conductors are rather easily bent and not easy to access, either. At times I have had to dismantle the case to be thorough in my efforts, but most of the time I use a specialized spray cleaner for electronics between major cleanings. It is safe on all surfaces, cleans just about everything perfectly, and extremely expensive! Well, despite the age of the Phonak case, it did its daily duties like a champ. Unfortunately, my wife dropped her case recently and broke one of the two hinges that keeps the lid on it. the case was still able to pass the needed current and still held her aids properly to get them charged each day, but the lid kept falling off each time she moved it and frankly it wasn't looking very nice anymore. So, since these very expensive hearing aids can only be charged by way of Phonak cases and my wife relies on her aids so much, a new case was in order and we are both eternally grateful that Phonak is a very professional outfit and really support their products. This is not an aftermarket case, it is a genuine Phonak case, an exact match to her original case. No compatibility issues, perfect fit. This item was a replacement for an old charger with spotty performance. As an active person who needs reliable recharging of their hearing aids knows, performance is vital. The new one was perfect.

    • The real deal from Phonak
After getting ripped off by buying cheap knockoffs on Ebay (which look EXACTLY like the real ones) these are the real deal. With a HUGE difference in reliability! I finally figured out that the genuine Phonak products have a serial number on the item, where the counterfeit ones do not.

NOTE: this doesn't come with the cord. It is *just* the charger. If your hearing aids' charge dosn't last all day and you need to have more than one convenient charging location option, this is great - IF you have an extra cord. We use this one to recharge when we're out and on the go - the other one stays home. ... show more

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!!! 3 weeks of use, then almost burned out my hearing aid. Thought it WAS my hearing aid, so took both in to a doctor who told me it was the charger. But it was after 30 days by then. Contacted Amazon who said they would get in touch with the seller for a refund or a replacement. Still waiting for an answer. Prime Member here. Get this taken care of! Could you make it any MORE difficult to speak or chat with Customer Service? So upset! Trying to get back into a chat but can't figure out how to get there again!!! Update June 24, 2026: The seller DID NOT solve the problem!! I received an email from Amazon today, saying they had closed the file, but the problem HAS NOT BEEN RESOLVED. In the email, there is a space to type in your response, but you can't click on it to type.
