First - after much futzing around I can say I am happy with my purchase of this printer. But I had hoped it would connect with my Chromebook which it DOES NOT - even using a USB cable - so be forewarned if you're a Chromebook user. Fortunately I also have an iPad and can use this printer with the Bluetooth connection - so great, no cables needed. I only need to print from docs in my Google Drive, which does take about 5 different "clicks" to get a doc to print, but all-in-all after decades of using inkjet printers, dried up cartridges due to minimal use, etc., I can say I really like this easy to use, small, ink-less priinter. I love the slim, small size and performance. And for my very occassional need for a printed black and white page, this is a great option and a very fair price too. ... show more

I bought this based on a YouTube review and a review on the phomemo site itself which recommended it for tattooand I'm super disappointed. It prints to the included thermal paper, which is regular white paper that's thermal reactive, consistently and beautifully. Like, seriously, wow. For the intended function it is 5 stars. I hate to give less stars for my review but maybe I can save someone else who thinks this will work for tattoo stencils because it does not. Out of maybe 30 sheets of spirit (@ >$1/ea) I got 2 good prints that were acceptable but still not great. I tried EVERYTHING. Best way was a PDF file uploaded to the app as a document printed on"dedicated" mode but even that being said it was only the first print after the machine was turned on after sitting idle for hours. If it was warmed up at all or would print almost nothing. And sometimes not even then. I tried it facing both ways, all the file types, all the settings. Sometimes it prints literally nothing so I'd just keep running the sheet through and usually once it got to that point I just had to reset it and let it sit overnight. But it will always print to the included paper with no problems at all. Sorry for the long read. Best of luck, y'all. The photo shows the original, the line drawing, and 4 prints. I got a single other one not shown that looks like the middle one which is to say of acceptable quality. ... show more

We do not have a computer setup or printer at home, we pretty much run our small business on our ipad and phone. If I needed something printed it was always a hassle to ask my husband to do it at his office which he sometimes forgot. I dont need things printed often, only once a month or so. Like something I needed my neighbour sign or some notes to take to a doctors appointment. Those are the two first things I used this printer for and it worked great! No ink required or any fancy setup, just sent it right from my phone. The one thing was that the side of the paper got crinkled a little bit, so make sure to feed the paper perfectly in the middle. Also the ink is a little spotty looking on the paper, so if you want a pristine document thats presentable to important people like a resume, this is probably not your product. But to get stuff on paper quick with convenience and without any hassle, I would definitely recommend this product. ... show more

I enjoyed using the printer but it has issues with staying connected to the PC via a USB cable which immediately deducted a star sadly, I think it would be great if wifi printing would be implemented for pc use instead of wired printing, and Phomemo's app functionality while beautiful and well maintained is very limited for the letter-sized printer, I think it would benefit from the ability to create pages/notes like the smaller 4 inch, 2 inches and under printers by Phomemo which I have many of and recommend those for labelers and scrapbooking. The print quality on documents is wonderful, if that's all you need then this is perfect but photos do not print that clearly without some filtering and tinkering in-app. I also found this printer would be amazing if Phomemo could provide letter-size thermal adhesive paper to make stickers it would be great for journaling and scrapbooking crafts and be even more indispensable. I tested this printer with tattoo thermal stencil paper and it works perfectly! Overall it is great for documents but the app needs improvement to allow more flexibility and the refill paper options need to expand to adhesive sheets and perhaps colored papers just like Phomemos smaller A6 printers and labelers, I look forward to any future updates to the printer unfortunately in its current state, it did not work for me as I needed it to for my everyday uses, but it will be perfect for the uses I stated for someone else. ... show more
