this automatic litter box, and let me tell it, life changing. Set up was pretty pain free, and then you basically forget about it. It fits roughly the same as the average litter box, but gives so much more life to the litter as it’s cleaning after each use, and sifting it out. Love this! It came in quite a few pieces but was super easy to put together, as was the setup! The size is perfect its not super tall of bulky... looks a little futuristic and very sleek and nice! Came as described with all the accessories like mat for front, bags and deodorant Inserts. The app and wifi install was super easy as well, and its not high off the ground at all... maybe hard for kitten or older/disabled cat. Overall im super happy with it and it looks great in my home! Would definitely recommend! It came next day, with a passcode for delivery to ensure security for high priced item which i liked! And like I said putting it together was easy! Maybe took a half hour from opening to plugging in and getting it setup. The design inside is safe and the rotation is slow, it stops when a cat enters if its mid clean, but the speed it rotates is safe as well. Draw with bag is easy to pull out and access, this is definitely a great addition if you hate scooping the mess! Super happy with purchase and definitely recommend! ... show more

I’ve been using the PetSafe SmartSpin litter box for about a month and a half now with two cats, and overall it works really well. Odor control is excellent, and it cleans automatically about one minute after my cats exit. I empty the waste disposal container weekly and change the crystal litter every two weeks, which is easy to manage. No technical issues so far. My only honest complaint was the entrance design—it’s too large and shallow. One of my cats (Theon) tends to pee near the edges, and early on, I noticed urine dripping onto the base near the logo. To work around it, I created a small ramp inside the litter box, which keeps him away from the entrance, now he pees closer to the center—and voilà!!! that solved the problem! Aside from that, the litter box does a great job. If your cat doesn’t have this habit, it’s an excellent automatic solution!I highly recommend!!!! ... show more

If I could return this thing, I would. I've had it for less than 3 months. I could NOT get the app to work. Putting it together was okay, not great, but okay. My cats didn't have any trouble getting use to it. The design needs some serious improvement. The bottom rubber piece that the litter sits on is super sticky. In order to clean it, I've had to drag it outside and use my PRESSURE WASHER because scrubbing isn't enough. As it spins, the poop and pee clumps sometimes fall between the middle drum and the outside piece so it just sits there until you lift up the outside piece. It also can smear around the inside of the drum as it turns, but then if a piece is stuck between, it will smear on the outside of the main drum as well and you'll not know until you clean the whole thing. The buttons are directly under the entrance of the box, so when the cat goes in and out, they are dragging litter across the buttons or pawing dirty litter out onto those buttons. One of the buttons is already stuck. The odor control is okay, but not the greatest. It doesn't seal very well and the odor block in the box does practically nothing. The only win I could find was that a typical grocery bag can fit in the trash bin so that you don't HAVE to buy the branded trash bins. In fact, odor control was better when I layered the grocery bags because the fluffed up plastic creates a better seal around the bottom. ... show more
