I'm honestly loving this litter box! The design is beautiful and super modern, it looks amazing in my home. My cats were a little confused on the first day, sniffing around and watching it, but by the second day they were using it perfectly. The app is extremely useful, I can monitor everything from my phone, get alerts, track their usage and even the waste bin level. It gives me so much peace of mind. I really like this automatic litter box by PetSafe. The pros are that the phone app that goes with it is easy to use and simple to set up. The litter box is not small but it is smaller than other brands, enough so that I can fit it behind my couch, and it’s not very tall either. It’s easy to lift (not too heavy to carry), and it’s relatively quiet when in operation. You can set a timer to auto clean for a specific number of minutes after your cat exits the litter box or you can use the app to have the box start cleaning immediately with one tap of an icon. Also, this was more affordable than the more popular brands of litter boxes. The cons are that if you use the wrong clumping cat litter, the smell is awful, despite the deodorizer that is seated into the front of the pull-out waste-bin/tray. Recently, I've settled on Fresh Step litter with Febreze, which reduced the smell of cat poop to almost nothing. Also, I don’t like cleaning the litter box because I don’t have a back yard, and this requires at least 5 feet by 4 feet of space to lay out the pieces and wipe them down or a backyard to hose it down and air dry the pieces. If you wish, you can hose the globe-shaped part down in the tub but it’s clunky and awkward especially without a hose spray of some sort attached to your shower faucet. I also noticed some types of litter will stick to the inside of the litter box and can sometimes require rigorous scraping to remove it from the surface, all the while trying not to scratch the interior. I think I’ve solved this issue by rubbing some grease onto the parts of the interior that the litter likes to sticks to, before I put new litter into the box and later the litter will wipe right off. I also bought some pet-safe enzymatic cleaning spray, which I use when I’m wiping down the box with wet wipes. I’d like to think it helps prevent future smells. There is a small screw in the back of the interior globe-shaped part that cat litter likes to get stuck in, so I pack it with a tiny piece of paper towel to prevent that from happening. Also, after about a year of owning this, some very fine litter got stuck in the grooves around the two buttons on the front, and they both got stuck and wouldn’t push in, so I had to take a sewing needle and pick out the litter granules until the buttons worked again. I then put some masking tape lightly over the buttons to prevent this from happening again. That seems to be working so far. Moving on, my cat uses this box 2-4 times a day and I usually empty the waste bin/tray into my litter genie every night to prevent smells from wafting out into my living room, but I have gone 2 days without emptying it, and noticed no smells with the new brand of litter, and have emptied it after 7 days without the waste tray overflowing. I can’t review the durability of this litter box because I’ve had it for almost a year but I will say so far it’s working fine. I hope it continues to work fine, but only time will tell.

Love this! It came in quite a few pieces but was super easy to put together, as was the setup! The size is perfect its not super tall of bulky... looks a little futuristic and very sleek and nice! Came as described with all the accessories like mat for front, bags and deodorant Inserts. The app and wifi install was super easy as well, and its not high off the ground at all... maybe hard for kitten or older/disabled cat. Overall im super happy with it and it looks great in my home! Would definitely recommend! It came next day, with a passcode for delivery to ensure security for high priced item which i liked! And like I said putting it together was easy! Maybe took a half hour from opening to plugging in and getting it setup. The design inside is safe and the rotation is slow, it stops when a cat enters if its mid clean, but the speed it rotates is safe as well. Draw with bag is easy to pull out and access, this is definitely a great addition if you hate scooping the mess! Super happy with purchase and definitely recommend!

At first I was blown away by how nice this was and it was such an easy put together. I do like how u can have the app on ur phone but for me it seems pointless. You dont get instructions on how to setup the wifi and everything else so I havent gotten that figured out. It doesn't clean the litter properly but it does keep the smell away. Its a nice machine for my 1 cat but I wouldn't spend so much on it.

I wish I could give this zero stars. We got this when we had a baby and life got busy so we wouldn’t have to worry about cleaning out the litter box each day, well this had made our lives hell. We have one cat. There is litter EVERYWHERE, all the time. The cleaning aspect is not super easy, once we didn’t have the tray in exact & it didn’t spin and self clean….. ever. You can imagine what that looked like after a few days. Every time we go to clean it there is a new problem. Our poor cat has to be in a dirty litter box sometimes we feel awful. For the very high amount this litter box is, not worth it. We are going back to the pet safe self cleaning.

Overall, this litter box is a game changer and has made my life much simpler. It’s quiet, efficient, and easy to clean. A few items of note: - Possibly due to the height of the opening, my cats jump in and out of it and that causes litter to fly out and all over the floor. The litter mat is way too small to catch the litter so I’m having to sweep the area a few times a day. - During setup, connecting it to WiFi was far more time consuming and frustrating than it should have been. I have a separate WiFi network created for IoT devices (2.4ghz) and after about twenty attempts to connect, I ended up adding it to the network I have for my alarm system. Eventually I’ll try it again on the correct network. - Since the opening is so high, I had to purchase a step to place in front of it. I’ve seen models by other brands that come with a step but this one does not and my older cat did not want to use it because of needing to jump to get in. After I purchased a third party step, my older cat began using it. - I also have a PetSafe Smart Scoop litter box and figured they would use the same app. I now have two apps that I have to use to for the products. I assumed this new one could be added to the other PetSafe app so everything would be in one place.
