    • Constantly malfunctions & bad customer service
Color: White Size: Standard Litter Box
I’ve had a positive experiences with PetLibro products in the past (auto feeder, water fountain), which is what led me to try their litter robot. Unfortunately, my positive experience ended there. From the beginning, the sensor falsely detected obstructing objects and movement, even when the room was completely empty. About a couple weeks later it started getting stuck during self-cleaning. This went on for a couple more weeks before I gave up on it. When I contacted Petlibro support, they never returned my calls or emails. Thankfully Amazon stepped up and processed a refund! It’s disappointing to pay so much for a product, only to receive a defective item and such poor customer service in return. To be a reputable company have to stand by your products and acknowledge your customers when they reach out! I understand sometimes products fail but the terrible customer service for me is non negotiable. Will never purchase another Petlibro product. ... show more

Hana and I are absolutely loving it! Setup was super easy and took me maybe 10 minutes. I poured in my cat’s used litter the first time for she to get to know it and she started using it within an hour! I was a little hesitant about the automatic cleaning function at first but it turns out this litter box is actually very sensitive to any cat activity around it. It stops cleaning immediately if the cat comes close and starts again once she walks away, so there is really no risk so I just turned on the automated cleaning now and I never have to scoop it anymore!! There is literally zero smell even though it does not have a cover. I keep it in my living room and the smell is even less than when I used to scoop every two days. It also has an air filter that works really well, and it turns on automatically for each cleaning cycle. The app gives reminders for replacing the filter and emptying the waste drawer, which is super helpful to keep track of things. My favorite function so far is the empty all lol cleaning traditional litter box needs such a lift but for this one it’s just a click It even has a camera that I dont feel like I need a separate pet cam anymore. It sends notifications every time Hana visits, and now I actually have a better sense of her health and habits. I saw there is also a premium ai health detector feature that am gonna try that too. Hana is a 10 pound ragdoll, and this litter box is super spacious for her. She goes in and out easily, unlike with our old litter box she struggles to squeeze in. Im just regretting to not buying it earlier!!! ... show more

Color: White Size: Standard Litter Box
Update- support got back to me and did a round of trouble shooting. After all else failed, the manufacturer did send me a new machine. Since the new one showed up, it has been wonderful. Easy to empty and the features are awesome. Especially the safety guards to prevent cleaning while anything is even near the litter box. I would recommend this, but would say to get it off the PETLIBRO website and not deal with the middleman I would love to give this an honest review, but after unboxing and plugging it in… nothing. It won’t even power on. I didn’t even put litter in it yet. I don’t know if it was dropped a few time before it got to my doorstep or if it was broke from the manufacturer. But currently in communication with Petlibra support, but they are only open M-F 8-4 ( while I’m working). Amazon support says they’ll refund my money but that could take up to 30 days, then reorder. Frustrating for how much money it is and how I’m being inconvenienced, when it could be a simple (sorry, we will send you a new one) would do. ... show more

    • Send me your money instead, this product is worse than what it alleges to collect.
Color: White Size: Standard Litter Box
I ordered this and let it sit too long before installing it so I can't return it. I have never spent THIS MUCH MONEY on some piece of garbage that fails right out of the box. On the rare occasions my cat will actually even get in it, it stalls during every flush and I have to power reset it. THIS IS WHAT YOU GET WHEN YOU PLAY IT CHEAP, BE WARNED! The contents would exceed the machine in terms of living up to its billing. ... show more

    • Be wary of this product
Color: White Size: Standard Litter Box
I consistently had a problem with this device when I emptied the litter box. I continued to have a “litter box full alert” when I reinserted the box with a clean litter bag, This prevented the unit from working. I would go through all of their recommended solutions such as making sure the new bag was smooth and that the sensors were clean, but it was very difficult to clear the alert without taking out the entire rotating assembly and cleaning it thoroughly. It was very rare for it not to freeze up each time I emptied it. I also had a problem with it filling up very rapidly because the design is somewhat flawed imo. It has a very flat and shallow litter receptacle, which means the litter piles up in a pyramid in the center and trips the full sensor even though the box is only about 35% full. After many, many emails with support over a six-month period, they finally agreed to honor their satisfaction guarantee and warranty claim and allow me to return the unit. Had they not done so, I would’ve left my one-star rating. Have they done it in a more timely manner, I would’ve given them another star. I have purchased a number of other Petlibro products that I like very much. According to Grok, this is a known issue. I would be wary of buying this product until this problem is remedied. ... show more

    • Nice and safe to cats instead of being stated dangerous in some of the review
Color: White Size: Standard Litter Box
Review Image by Gugugu
I bought it on their official web site. It is actually good with no smell and easy to install. The risk is actually not there at all since they have motion sensor. They use their AI to distinguish your cat so if you cat appeared nearby it will directly stop. If your cat touch the cabin, the weight sensor will be triggered easily and stop as well. It is actually even too safe if your cats are the ones with great curiosity. The Reddit video use an aluminum can to do the test, it does not have any weight to trigger the weight sensor. It also does not look like a real cat so it makes no sense to say the product is dangerous. My both cats love it so much and even 1 of them is a black cat only 4 month and 1kg, it still triggered all the alerts and stops everything when she is using it and wandering around it during night. Even without the additional function with AI or some thing, the price still worth it for its safety and feasibility. It is very easy to clean as well, mostly just dispose the mat and replace with a cheap new one and that's it. Step back to say that if accidents really happens, I tested and tried myself and noticing that it is very easy to take out the cabin quickly based on the design. But may need some more work to tell us which rotation angle it should be when installing back... But that is not a big deal since you probably never need to take the cabin out, only if you want to clean the cabin. After all, a very nice product and deserves its price! ... show more

    • Terrible Odor Control – Smell Spreads Everywhere
Color: White Size: Standard Litter Box
I am very disappointed with the Petlibro Luma Automatic Cat Litter Box. I have been using it for about two months, and it has not met my expectations. First, the odor control is extremely poor. Even if I change the waste bag daily, the smell becomes very strong and unpleasant. The odor spreads throughout the room, whether it’s in a bedroom, living room, or even the garage. Second, the unit requires frequent cleaning. Despite being an automatic litter box, it still needs to be cleaned almost every day. Instead of reducing maintenance, it feels like the system makes the litter box dirty on its own through its cycling process. Considering the price of $540, this product is not worth it. If it were priced around $300, it might be more reasonable, but at its current cost, I cannot recommend it. ... show more
