Really wanted to like this thing but it is poorly designed. It does not assemble well - the cross supports do not fit into the brackets (it literally was sheering off the plastic ribs inside when we tried to get it together). And once you do have everything pounded together and screwed into place it pops apart when you move it - even with a total or three people trying to hang it (two holding and one screwing). Forget using a drill to install the top screws as well - the bracket gets in the way of drilling (or hand screwing) it in so all the screws go in at a slight angle. Over all not worth it - they need deeper channels for the PC to slide into to give this more functional support. I highly doubt it would hold up to the wind and as others have mentioned it does not even seal together well so there are gaps between the panels. This may be functional if you get the single panel option as it has less failure points - but the 3 panels is a nightmare.

This is light weight but perfect when installed with more reinforcement. This awning looks nice and is effective to keep the rain from beating on our windows. Reasonably priced overall.

I returned this awning because of the quality. After taking a couple of the panels out of the box and looking at the plastic frame, I saw enough to know that this was not what I expected. The panels that is supposed to protect the area from rain or sun or whatever, looks like a plastic version of a foam board. They came in a bunch of pieces that was to be connected with plastic pieces of the frame and I just don't understand how that is supposed to work as described. You really do get what you pay for. I read a couple of reviews where people were happy with this purchase and that's great for them but I wouldn't purchase this again.

It's not as sturdy as I hoped it would be plus the measurements were not accurate. It was difficult even with 2 people to hang because it wanted to keep coming apart. We ended up putting duct tape on it to hold it together while we secured it. I would not purchase it again. Also it arrived damaged and I'm still waiting to hear back on when I will get parts. Go for a better quality one IMO

This is very flimsy, and will require additional hardware to install. They don't tell you that before purchase. You will need screws to attach it to the wall, the included screws are for drywall. If you bought the long one like I did, you will need 3-4 people to hold it up while you install the screws. Not easy if you are 10' above the ground like my application. Also, you will need to seal it where it meets the wall, otherwise water will run down behind it. The instructions are very poor, just a few pictures. Returns are not free, you have to pay the shipping. Save your money.
