Item was delivered earlier than expected. Excellent packaging. All parts were in the box and easy to identify. Holes all drilled and lined up properly. Overall quality is very good. Instructions were simple to follow, but definitely recommend watching the couple of videos on YouTube for additional help. Installation took me approximately three (3) hours - most of that time was mounting the brackets onto the wall. I was able to install the 16 ft shade alone, but definitely having assistance would've been a lot easier! I would recommend this shade for anyone looking for a good value and is savvy with simple handyman skills.

First of all, nothing in the description said anything about the mounting limitations. The only mounting hardware and instructions supplied was for brick or concrete. I had to make modifications for a wood framed and sided garage using 2x10s and carriage bolts. It worked out in the end but that really should be noted in the description. Once up and fine adjustments done, it looks good and functions fine.

Love it. Exactly what I wanted. Great customer service. Instruction were a little tricky but not as bad as everyone said. It’s all in metric so divide by 25.4 and problem solved. Went from coffee color to beige and love it.

I hired someone to install the awning. It took two people 6 hours to install. One reason why is the product had parts on the wrong side and it had to be taken apart and put back together. The installer had to buy different screws to secure it properly to my house. It’s not an easy thing to install so please beware before you purchase. I like the look of the awning, however, I am very skeptical it will hold up to any kind of wind as it is stated it will. Time will tell but I probably will keep the awning closed if there is any wind above 10 miles an hour. Our back patio gets very sunny and hot in the summer and I really just wanted it to provide shade so we can sit outside and not melt. Just won’t be able to use it if it is too windy. I think the manufacturer should work on quality control and writing a better instruction manual. It is a very good value compared to awnings sold by Sunsetter and if you have a tight budget, then this is your awning. I paid $200 for the awning and paid $375 to the installer so I’m all in $575. Sunsetter wanted over $5,000. I’m sure their product is higher quality but it comes down to how much you want to spend.

The media could not be loaded. Love the look and ease that it rolls out and retracts. There are more expensive awnings available but roughly $300 this is a great option.

This unit is pretty well made but has a few minor issues. The crank handle is way too short, it needs to be another 2-3 ft at least. The dimensions in the instructions are metric, which may be confusing to some. The hardware is also metric.

The instructions are very vague and some are not even grammatically correct. It would not be super hard to put together if the instructions were better.
