Read instructions, collected tools, inventoried material and got to work. Where there was any confusion from instructions, a quick look at the parts helped clarify what needed to be done. Not a review from someone that got it for free. Not hard to assemble at all, my 13 YO boy did it on the living room floor with little assistance from me. (I hung it) It’s smooth in and out and it’s sturdy to a point… Having said that, I wasn’t happy with the flapping. Omaha is about as windy as it gets and I wanted this to last. I added two Bimini support poles (quick disconnect) to the outer most part, extended. It’s secured in all four corners now and it’s amazing. (see pics) The umbrella’s I was looking at were 700+ with FAR less coverage. For 200.00 this is a no brainer. 60.00 in extra parts to make it perfect, still ahead. A+ ... show more

Shipping was good with FedEx. Item cost was ok. Assembly was as usual with an awning. I read the reviews, this is my 3rd awning I have assembled. This thing needs stronger torsion arms. Iadjusted it to max height, extended awning and low and behold, it drooped 3 to 5 feet at the outer extended end. I tried everything I could think of to gain height, nothing worked. So I said to myself, what do you do when you have a roof sag. So I shored it up, looks like garbage, but at least my 5'7" self can walk underneath it now, but now I have a 2 x 4 in the middle of my deck, go figure. Summary, it's too big for the cheap supporting hardware and supporting arms. Beware if you're going big. ... show more

The roller bent after only a few months. I tried to reach manufacturer without luck. I would not buy this brand again. It was very inexpensive. I guess that is why it did not last. Assembly was complicated.

Priced very reasonable and was delivered before due date. Assembly was simple and it works fine. The only problem I have is that after 2 months of being up, the fabric color is already beginning to fade.
