  • Hear All - Including Background Noise
There is the saying. You get what you pay for. This is no different. This does amplify your hearing. However it amplifies everything. That includes your own voice, every click, tap, creak and wind gust. It also will amplify other people's voices, but it could get drowned out with the surrounding noise. Your brain will help edit some of that out if you wear this for an extended period of time. Everybody is different and the amount your brain will recognize as background will vary. It will amplify sound directly out of the box. You do not need to connect your phone to it for that functionality. If you connect your phone to it you'll then be able to use it like a typical Bluetooth headphone. Once you do that sometimes the amplification will work. Sometimes it won't. There are apps that will overtake the speakers and turn the hearing aid functionality off. You may need to disconnect them from Bluetooth to regain the hearing aid feature. I had phone conversations with these headphones and received no complaints. I even asked if I sounded weird and they said no. I could hear the other person clearly as well. There isn't much bass or high level sound quality with these. These aren't the best for listening to music, but that's not its primary purpose. They fit onto your ear with no discomfort. They loop over your ear so they don't put much stress on your ear with prolonged use. Their are different sized ear plugs you can use. You should be able to find one that fits well. They look like normal Bluetooth headphones. So for those who are subconscious about wearing a hearing aid this is a good option. They look normal and people won't assume that its a hearing aid. Normal hearing aids will minimize background noise. They will block out your own voice. They will make it easier to focus on another person's voice. They also cost thousands of dollars. This doesn't. It will do what its designed to do, but won't perform like a typical, expensive hear aid. Nor should it be expected to at this price. ... show more

  • comfortable to wear and easy to use
These OTC hearing aids offer a great combination of comfort, convenience, and sound quality. They fit securely in the ear without feeling bulky, and after a short time I barely noticed I was wearing them. The sound amplification is clear, and the noise-canceling feature does a good job of reducing some background distractions, making conversations easier to follow. I especially like having multiple listening modes, which let me adjust the performance depending on whether I'm at home, watching TV, or in a noisier environment. The Bluetooth capability is a welcome addition and makes these feel more modern than many basic OTC hearing aids. Pairing was straightforward, and the controls are simple enough that changing volume or switching modes doesn't take much effort. The eight volume levels provide enough flexibility to find a comfortable setting without the sound becoming overwhelming. The rechargeable design is another major advantage. The charging case is compact and convenient for both storage and travel, and it's nice not having to keep buying disposable batteries. Battery life has been more than adequate for daily use. While no OTC hearing aid will perfectly replace professionally programmed prescription devices for everyone, these offer impressive performance for the price. They're comfortable, easy to operate, and provide a noticeable improvement in everyday hearing situations. Overall, they're an excellent value for anyone looking for an easy-to-use rechargeable hearing aid with Bluetooth connectivity. My only problem is that I wear glasses, so over the ear hearing aids made my glasses slide more. I may be able to fix that with those pads you put on your glasses, but it's just something to take into consideration. ... show more

  • Functional, better than no hearing aids
This review is for the Auiioes brand ‘OTC Hearing Aids for Seniors With Hearing Loss’, in black. Hearing aids come in all sorts of price brackets, and usually for very good reasons. These are only $120 for very good reasons. Physically, these are reasonably comfortable; I've certainly tried more uncomfortable earbuds in the past. They fit around your ear in the manner typical of hearing aids, and the little earbud tip sticks in your ear. This is all standard; any problems that arise will be from sound quality and the unintended drag on ease of use that comes when you add bluetooth to something. These are functional hearing aids. They amplify the sounds around you, so you can finally hear the TV, or your family members, or the radio. Unfortunately, if you’re not technologically savvy, you’ll probably struggle with these until you figure out how to get the buttons to do what you want them to do. It has a good range of volume, and several modes which sound useful in theory but don’t tend to work well in practice. Basically, you go from ‘weirdly quiet’ to ‘in the middle’ to ‘too loud’. These also function as bluetooth headphones. You can pair them to your phone or computer and use them to listen to music or whatever else you want. Sound quality isn’t high, but it’s not garbage either—it’s actually pretty typical of lower cost headphones. You can make phone calls with these, too. They work adequately well as bluetooth headphones, but also feature all the aggravations that come with bluetooth, too, such as apps interrupting what you’re doing, dropping signal, occasional difficulty pairing, etc. Nothing ground breaking here. Overall, if the alternative is no hearing aid, you’ll definitely want these. There are definitely better hearing aids out there, but if you can’t afford anything better, these are better than not being able to hear. Four stars. ... show more

  • Easy-to-Use Hearing Aids That Make Everyday Conversations Clearer
These OTC hearing aids offer a nice combination of comfort, convenience, and modern features at an approachable price. They were easy to set up, and I like that they work as hearing aids right out of the box while also offering Bluetooth connectivity for calls and media. The sound amplification makes conversations easier to hear, and the different listening modes are helpful when moving between quieter indoor spaces and noisier environments. Having multiple volume levels also makes it easy to find a comfortable setting without everything sounding overly loud. The fit is lightweight and secure, and the included selection of ear tips makes it easy to find a comfortable seal. After wearing them for an extended period, they remain comfortable enough for everyday use without constantly needing to readjust them. Battery life is another strong point. The rechargeable case is compact, charges the hearing aids quickly, and provides plenty of additional power while traveling. The battery display is a nice feature since it's easy to check the remaining charge at a glance. The Bluetooth functionality is a welcome bonus. Pairing with a phone is straightforward, making it convenient for phone calls, podcasts, and videos without needing a separate set of earbuds. If you're looking for an affordable OTC hearing aid with rechargeable batteries, Bluetooth connectivity, comfortable all-day wear, and straightforward operation, these are a solid option that offers a lot of useful features in one package. ... show more

  • Versitile OTC bluetooth Hearing Aid
Good sound amplifiers. I've been wearing them for a couple days now to see how they will work out for daily use. The battery charge lasts pretty much the whole day which is great. The all day comfort with these is also pretty good. They come with a good set of ear tips so you can get the most comfortable fit since they go deep in ear. They provide good sound isolation due to being in-ear headphones. They function really well as sound amplifiers and have 8 volume levels that you can control with a single press of the button that cycles up then starts over at level 1. Doing a double-tap on that button also changes the sound for certain environments, I believe they are inside mode, outside mode, and noise reduction mode. I tried each mode and found that noise reduction mode really dampens every sound and that inside mode really amplifies everything. Two other button functions are power off and power on, holding them for like 5 secs does this, manual mentions that you can just put them into the charge case to power them off and take them out to power them on, discovered this function when trying to re-pair them to my phone since you can hold the function button till the LED lights start to blink blue which then puts them in pairing mode. As a pair of wireless headphone they are not bad. Not audiophile level, but passable. One nice function is that they will automatically switch between hearing-aid mode to bluetooth mode once sound output stops on your phone. Calls are ok with these, the other side said they can hear and understand me when talking. One thing that I did encounter which was annoying, was sometimes the bluetooth connection would become unstable and I would have to put it back into the case and then back out to stabilize the connection. Overall, these are very versatile hearing amplifiers that function as OTC hearing aids and bluetooth headphones. Fit is good once you get the right size of tips on since this will decide how comfortable they will be the whole day. ... show more

  • It works.
If you are looking to amplify sound- 100%- this works. My husband has or had tinnitus in one ear. Then his hearing changed. It’s not good. Like the base went away. Things sound tinny and distant. He’s young and not ready to invest in hearing aids. I feel badly for him. I don’t know what it feels like but it sounds awful and annoying. I have had ringing but it went away. Oh- I was almost deaf when I was a kid for maybe a year. Who knows!? No one noticed till I was practically deaf and failing school. They thought I was stupid. But I couldn’t hear! I watched my grandfather lose his hearing and it seemed lonely. Hearing is a lovely gift. I want my husband to hear everything. His child. Music. I don’t want him missing out because he doesn’t understand what’s happening. He has one good ear but still. He says “what?” A lot. The rechargeable hearing aid is rechargeable. The fit was reportedly comfortable. The volume was easily adjusted. These hearing aids amplify all sounds. It doesn’t focus on voices and amplify those and tune out traffic noise. All sound is amplified. He said his own speaking was amplified and he did not like that. Also, the sound he heard is still tinny but louder. We need hearing aids that add bass and amplify people, voices, and tune out wind, traffic, engines humming. Maybe this will be an AI hearing aid of the future. My grandfather had a hearing aid that was about $5000.00. It did what this hearing aid does. This one was far more affordable. ... show more

  • Comfortable, Clear Sound Amplifier
I was impressed by how easy these hearing aids were to set up and use. Pairing with my phone only took a minute, and after the initial setup they automatically switch between hearing aid mode and Bluetooth mode without me having to press buttons or change settings. I can answer a phone call, listen to music or watch videos, and when I'm finished they seamlessly return to hearing mode. That convenience alone makes a huge difference for everyday use. The sound quality is pleasantly clear. Conversations are easier to follow, and voices come through naturally without sounding overly harsh or distorted. The built-in smart chip does a nice job of providing crisp audio for both everyday listening and Bluetooth streaming. Comfort is another standout feature. They're incredibly lightweight, and after wearing them for several hours I almost forgot they were there. The package includes four different ear tip sizes, making it easy to find a secure fit that stays in place while walking, running errands, or simply going about daily activities. They also sit discreetly in the ears, so they don't draw unnecessary attention. Battery life has been more than sufficient for daily use, and the Bluetooth connection has remained stable throughout my testing. Calls are clear, and streaming audio is smooth with no noticeable interruptions. Overall, these are thoughtfully designed hearing aids that combine comfort, reliable sound quality, and seamless Bluetooth integration into one easy-to-use device. If you're looking for hearing aids that simplify daily life without constantly switching modes or adjusting settings, these are an excellent choice and well worth considering. ... show more

  • Comfortable 'amplifiers' instead of hearing aids
These Auiioes OTC hearing aids are more like amplifiers. They amplify every noise, including the rustle of a shirt or scuff of a shoe. I did notice an increase in volume for my smart speaker, but no real noise reduction. Pros: - Really comfortable and lightweight, and fit well. - In a quiet room, my meeting playing on my laptop was clear, though tinny. - Easy to bluetooth connect - So far battery is good; case went down to 80% quickly, but these stayed upper 90s after about 30 minutes Cons: - I didn't notice much difference in the modes or noise reduction - There is no real depth or bass to sounds, especially music - Volume 1 is really loud; can't imagine using volume 8 For amplifiers, these are a little pricey at $120, but for 'hearing aids', you get what you paid for. ... show more
