She likes that she can hear the birds again when she sits outside in the morning. The 16-channel processor definitely makes sounds feel more natural, not tinny or too sharp like her old pair. She watches her soap operas without blasting the volume, and she can hear me from the kitchen when I call her. The charging case is simple and charges fast with USB-C, which is handy. She did say it took her a couple days to get used to tapping them to adjust the volume—sometimes she’d turn them off by mistake. But once she got the hang of it, it was smooth sailing. Overall, they’re great for the price and don’t scream “medical device,” which she appreciates. This pair is anything but. They’re super compact and barely noticeable once in the ear. I had to point them out to her neighbor because she didn’t even realize she was wearing anything. Setup was painless. Long press to power on, double tap for volume — that’s it. The charging case is sleek and lightweight, fits in her purse, and lasts several days without needing to recharge. She really liked that it uses USB-C so she could share the charger with her tablet. In terms of sound, she’s been hearing more clearly both indoors and outside. Voices don’t sound muffled or too sharp, and the background noise filtering seems to work well in places like the supermarket or on walks near the road. She can now enjoy her daily shows again at normal volume and actually follow along without asking “what did they say?” every few minutes. If there’s one thing she struggles with, it’s remembering to hold the button down long enough to power them off. She’s accidentally left them on overnight a few times, but the battery held up surprisingly well. We just make sure to pop them back in the case at night now.
