I'm a Private chef and I have a Celebrity Client with the full set of HexClad pots and Pans. I fell in love with the product and planned to buy the set, myself. But over the Holidaze, they sold out. So, I purchased this pan (Because it was free returns) and I actually like this better for a few reasons. They Work, the same. The quality is exactly the same - Wonderful! But its a 3rd of the price and the design on the raised steel is much more attractive! I Bought the entire set, Hung it on my wall, and the "Firey" pattern on the bottom, is Super Sexy! Highly recommend. I've always used Le Crueset and traditional Cast Iron, but over the years they have become a bit heavy for my aging bones. I have the full set of Smithy Products as well, and I love the copper farmhouse look, but the experience with these pots/pans/Wok, Can't be beaten! I Love the non-stick quality, the level of diversity and the fact that you can use any utensils. I actually purchased several of these sets as gifts for the Holidays. I love the way the pan looks... As pans go, this is a work of art. You must season the pan. You will have to use oil or lard in order for it to be nonstick ... I'm going to try to season it like a cast iron pan by greasing it with shortening and baking it. Hopefully then it will be nonstick
