My 2009 Acura MDX has wireless calling but no Bluetooth connectivity to play music. So I took some time to find an external Bluetooth device that would plug into my AUX port and provide me the ability to play music and make calls. Connecting my iPhone to the device was simple. I like that it comes with a USB-C cable to charge the device and includes a 2-sided AUX adapter - one side plugs into the AUX port and the other into the device. That's right, it rechargeable. So you can plug it in, and start using it, without any additional wiring for power. However, I have a spare port and keep it connected to power. Music playback ability: Outstanding!! My MDX has some type of Dolby system that is activated when I play music through this device. The music is clean, clear, and dynamic! And it has a powerful signal that allows me to easily play music without turning up the volume too far, at highway speeds. Call quality: Outstanding!! Originally I simply put the device in a cupholder to keep it out of sight. Well, my first few phone calls were terrible per the people I spoke with. Then, I looked at the instructions and realized that the microphone is on the front of the device. So I moved the device near the center console shifter and made sure the microphone was facing up. Tried another call and the other person thought I was using my phone by holding it in my hand and using the phones microphone. The calls are now super clear. I highly recommend this device!! Hopefully you will enjoy it as much as I do.

I originally bought the COMSOON Bluetooth Receiver for a slightly unusual purpose; not for my car, but for my Fender Rumble 40 bass amp. I wanted a simple way to play background instruments through the amp while practicing, and without having to run a long aux cable across the room from my computer. Why phone's do not have a headphone jack anymore, I have no idea.. Honestly though? It works way better than I expected. Pairing was super quick. I plugged it into the aux input on my amp, turned it on, and my phone connected immediately. No lag, no annoying pairing dance. The sound quality is surprisingly clean, especially considering how cheap in price the device is. Music comes through loud and clear, and my bass still sounds great over it. (Fender 70's Jazz Classic, by the way. Wink wink) The battery life has been solid too. I’ve used it for several practice sessions before needing to charge it. It’s small, lightweight, and doesn’t get in the way, which is ideal since it just sits next to the amp. I've been considering using velcro to keep it portable and tidy. One thing I really appreciate is the range. I can move around the room with my bass and my phone which is typically in my pocket stays connected without cutting out. For practice sessions, that’s been a big bonus since I get quite rowdy. Even though this is marketed for cars, it works perfectly with amps or speakers as long as they have an aux input. For my setup, it’s been a simple, affordable solution that does exactly what I hoped it would. Highly recommend. whether for the car or, like me, for a music setup.

I bought this Bluetooth receiver to add wireless audio to my older car, and it has been a great upgrade. Pairing with my iPhone was quick and easy, and it reconnects automatically most of the time when I get back in the car. The sound quality is clear for both music and phone calls, and I haven’t noticed any major static or connection issues. The battery lasts long enough that I don’t have to charge it often, which is very convenient for daily driving. I also like that it’s compact and doesn’t take up much space. One small improvement would be making the status light a little less bright at night, but that’s a minor issue. Overall, it’s an affordable and reliable solution if your vehicle only has an AUX port. I’d definitely recommend it.

I'd really like to give this product 3.5 stars, but since that's not possible, I'll go ahead and give it 4. I am very disappointed with 2 aspects of this product. I use this device for my headphones to listen to the TV at night so I don't wake up my husband. I have a certain style of wired earbuds that I really like. Now, I know what you're all saying: why not just by Bluetooth ear buds? Well, I've tried several different styles and have yet to find a pair that are comfortable to wear while I'm lying in bed. I have allodynia - which is a neurological sensory issue which causes all of my senses to misinterpret my senses as pain - and noises and anything uncomfortable in, on or near my ears or neck can be very painful. So, I'm sticking with the headphones that work for me (for now - I'll keep looking) and just wanted to replace my Bluetooth device for a new one. My big issues with this device are this (I'll mention the pros at the end): 1. When you turn the device on, a woman SCREAMS in your ear: "Power on! Connected!" Then she SCREAMS "Power off!" when you're turning it off. And to top it all off, she SCREAMS "Battery low!" when the device is dying. I cannot stand to have my earbuds in to turn on the device or to turn it off because the announcements are SO loud - and regardless of what volume you have the device set at - she still screams very loudly - there's no way around her screaming at you. If you can get past that - then be prepared if you accidentally fall asleep or you're using the device to listen to music in the car and the device is dying and suddenly it's SCREAMING at you that the battery is low! It is very nerve watching. My old device simple made 3 quiet bloops when I turned it on or off and would repeat a group of 3 bloops (spread out) to let you know the battery was dying. 2. My old device has a tiny blue light that lit up when the device was on. This device has a blue square, nearly the size of the entire device, and it blinks on and off the ENTIRE time it is on. I have to shove the device under a blanket because it is so annoying in a darker room. (I have posted a video of the blinking light.) I'm usually pretty good about reading reviews - but either I didn't read enough of them or these things were not mentioned. So, I'm putting them first to let people know the negatives of this product. I would prefer these aspects of the device to be altered for a more user friendly device. The reason I wanted to give it another half a star off is because the battery doesn't last quite as long as I expected from what I read in item description and in the reviews (where one reviewer claimed it lasted at least a week). I don't know how infrequently people are using the device that it last that long. I would say, on average, it last about 3 days. But, maybe I use it more than they expect and therefore I can't fault it a full star and give them only 3 stars. So, now for the pros: it is extremely lightweight; it has great clarity of sound; I really appreciate the volume control (my old device went from volume 3 where you couldn't hear it, to 4 being way too loud) and with device that is not an issue. It goes up and down in volume in small increments, allowing for easy volume control; the price was reasonable; and finally, it connects easily to the TV even at a good 12 feet away - I have not had any connectivity issues (yet).

It’s good but at times I hear some constant sound but it goes away if I readjust the pin. It definitely has connected my phone to my car now. Call quality is decent as friends say they hear me as if my phone is very far away from me but they can still hear me..

My car is the basic model, no Bluetooth, so I was using an aux cord but also using an adapter because of the type of phone I have, and man that was a hassle to plug in and out, I’m grateful for this little device, its compact, easy to use, sound quality for music and calls is amazing, no problems yet! And I hope not to! Battery wise, it’s great! Lasts a long time and it notifies you via voice when plugged in of course that it’s low battery, you can also charge and use it at the same time! Great investment, happy to have found this device!

It came with a lot of other cords, I use the aux cord for bluetooth but any of them work. It plays the music clearly and you can even blast it, always sounds super smooth. The phone calling bluetooth is the only one i don’t really use because people say i sound muffled, but again i don’t have a recent-year car. Overall I love it and it’s pretty small so you don’t have to worry about it taking up space. It’s also really easy to pair.

i got this on june 20th and it worked great. i like how you can skip songs with the buttons on the device. i didn’t have any issues with it until recently when the audio jack broke. the jack is detached from the device so it still works, i just need to get a new aux cord to plug it in
