I bought this Bluetooth receiver to add wireless audio to my older car, and it has been a great upgrade. Pairing with my iPhone was quick and easy, and it reconnects automatically most of the time when I get back in the car. The sound quality is clear for both music and phone calls, and I haven’t noticed any major static or connection issues. The battery lasts long enough that I don’t have to charge it often, which is very convenient for daily driving. I also like that it’s compact and doesn’t take up much space. This was a replacement of the same item because the battery failed to retain a charge any longer. It was years before that happened, the price is reasonable, so that is a reasonable lifetime for the device. I appreciated that the new version speaks to me in an American accent (the old one was Chinese). But I DON'T appreciate that the annunciations are made at full volume. This new version YELLS at me, regardless of the volume setting. When I turn it on, it screams, "CONNECTED!" If I turn the volume down and go one step too far, it screams, "MINIMUM VOLUME!" at the top of its lungs. I'm listening with the volume low, drifting off to sleep when I'm awakened by, "BATTERY LOW!" WHY the software engineers didn't choose to at least moderate the annunciations to by linking them to the volume setting, I don't understand. Otherwise, this device is reasonably priced, has pretty good Bluetooth range, is great for those wanting to use their favorite earbuds or headphones wirelessly (if your source has a Bluetooth transmitter), and I would recommend it. I would have given it a 5/5, if not for the barking commands. ... show more

This thing is awesome i should've bought it sooner. I regret not trying it before cuz i was thinking I'd have to buy an aftermarket head unit or some more expensive adapter. This device connects immediately when you pair it. The on and off procedure is smooth too. I take it with me when i leave the car because of the outside heat but i definitely recommend turning it off when you're not around since it needs to charge. I think this is great quality for the price. My music is seamless and the design is lightweight and convenient to carry in my pocket. I haven't tried bluetooth calls but for what i need it for is music and this works great. ... show more

This thing works WAY better than I could have ever expected. Mount it in a convenient location because you have to turn it on each time you start your car. It turns off after you turn car off for any period of time. I leave it plugged in and just hit the power button when I get in the car. This is worth WAY more than what they are charging.
