I've had this for 10 months. I plugged it into the Aux-in port in my car and it does a fine job of streaming audio from my phone. It's even good enough to carry on a phone call while driving and I've also connected it to my work phone & use it for conference calls when I'm driving, with no complaints about noise or audio quality from other participants. I cannot comment on battery life, as I plugged the USB cable into the adapter and into the 2nd port of my car charger and I just leave it plugged in. It's charging every time the engine is running. It does a pretty good job of staying connected via Bluetooth. Sometimes, it does too good a job - it'll remain connected to the phones when I walk into the house and when I go to answer a call, the phone is piping the audio to the adapter in the car. I've gotten in the habit of turning off the adapter as I park. For the first 7 months or so, it worked really well. Over the last couple of months, the audio announcements ("power on", "power off", "device connected") are starting to get truncated - I don't get the full announcement, both the beginning and ending of the announcement are getting clipped. Additionally, it will sometimes turn itself on - there are times when I'm going for a short drive and don't bother with turning it on, but I'll suddenly get (some of) the "power on" and "device connected" messages out of the blue. For the $18 I paid for it in Sept '24, I guess it's a reasonable value. The price has dropped a buck or so since. I do have the feeling I'll have to purchase a replacement sooner rather than later. While this works well, I'll probably look at a different brand in the hopes of finding something that will last longer. ... show more

Who would have guessed this little thing could solve an important problem. I have two pairs of expensive earbuds but decided I wanted nothing to do with those RF waves I. My ears again. This device put me back in my old corded earphones and it works like a charm. No, the sound quality is not the same, but sorry listening to my Bible app while walking, it's perfectly fine. The battery last a long time between charges and it uses the common charger that I have for everything. I purchased a package of black stick on clips and now it attaches to my gym clothes and phone stays in pocket or purse. Wow 😮. I'm Pleased. ... show more

I originally bought the COMSOON Bluetooth Receiver for a slightly unusual purpose; not for my car, but for my Fender Rumble 40 bass amp. I wanted a simple way to play background instruments through the amp while practicing, and without having to run a long aux cable across the room from my computer. Why phone's do not have a headphone jack anymore, I have no idea.. Honestly though? It works way better than I expected. Pairing was super quick. I plugged it into the aux input on my amp, turned it on, and my phone connected immediately. No lag, no annoying pairing dance. The sound quality is surprisingly clean, especially considering how cheap in price the device is. Music comes through loud and clear, and my bass still sounds great over it. (Fender 70's Jazz Classic, by the way. Wink wink) The battery life has been solid too. I’ve used it for several practice sessions before needing to charge it. It’s small, lightweight, and doesn’t get in the way, which is ideal since it just sits next to the amp. I've been considering using velcro to keep it portable and tidy. One thing I really appreciate is the range. I can move around the room with my bass and my phone which is typically in my pocket stays connected without cutting out. For practice sessions, that’s been a big bonus since I get quite rowdy. Even though this is marketed for cars, it works perfectly with amps or speakers as long as they have an aux input. I'd give this an average rating. Works good and as intended. Music sounds really good from my phone to car speakers via the aux. Phone calls don't sound as clear for some reason, hence why I am only giving it 3 stars. But it will suffice for a 2011 Tacoma.
