I like the storage box. It seems to be good quality, and not as the other reviewers have described. It is exactly what I needed for my home. I don't have a lot of cabinet space, and that's why I mentioned the box first. The cast iron cookware was nicely wrapped, and it came with an info sheet for use and later re-seasoning if it's needed. The main thing about cast iron cookware is that it must be dried immediately after each use, or it will rust. All in all, a good value for the price, especially.

The pans are great, the box is charming, but not worthy of the weight/load it carries. The latch is non functioning I didn’t buy it for the wood crate although It drew me to the product. Will have to replace the latch, though really not necessary I don’t think. There was a screw that appears was placed on the top of the lid into the frame of the box, this splintered the wood and did not serve the goal of securing the lid during shipment. The first set was destroyed in shipping and Amazon had no qualms about sending out a replacement, friendly customer service, however, a huge language barrier. Would recommend the pans. Also noted, the pans have a rough cooking surface, not smooth as I have used in the past.

The cast iron stuff is nice or at least as nice as any other cast iron manufactures, such as lodge etc.. The box is pretty weak, It is a cheap fast growing wood, real pithy, maybe paulownia, it has no holding power, the screws on the lid hinges pulled free and the lid was unattached on arrival. I had to use a broader thread screw and reattach it. I am certain the box will not hold up. Bit of a bummer, that is why I choose this brand I quite liked the box and thought it added some value to the purchase being a handy way to carry the set.
