I put a lot of little hammocks, toys, and structures for my rats to play in, but this is their absolute favorite. I love that it bends to fit nicely in the cage and the plastic is really durable. I haven't had any issues cleaning it. I bring it outside and hose it off since they do potty in there occasionally. There's also plenty of room for the rats to move through it (they can even climb over each other to get around). My boys are pretty chubby and it's still spacious. I was so excited with this tunnel and much to my delight my hamster seemed to love it, too! Unfortunately, it seems to be a favorite chew toy and after only 24 hours there are many holes in it. I can live with the chewing (and buy replacements) but I'm concerned my hamster might not (live)? If there's a vet or other expert out there who might reassure me that our hamster won't swallow the plastic or otherwise harm itself, that'd be great. ... show more

I was a little disappointed when I first opened it because I thought it was suppose to be a bigger tube not a small tube. After trying to see if i could bend it, i noticed it could expand. I bought it for my 2 ferrets and they love it, it’s the first thing they run to when I let them out

I bought this for my Syrian hamster, and he loves it. It’s large enough that he can turn around in it, and since it is flexible I can make any kind of tunnel for him. He’s in a reinforced rabbit cage, so there is plenty of room for a large tunnel like this. He never much cared for the small hamster tunnels, but this one he loves. I highly recommend it and I would absolutely buy it again. **edited to add: I thought I’d be clever and buried one end of this tube in the bedding, so he could have a proper tunnel. Hamster instead moved his sleeping area to inside the tube, then chewed holes in the tube for air. At least, that’s what it looked like. Had to throw out the tube as it now has jagged holes with sharp edges. *sigh* He did love that tube. ... show more

I bought this for my African Pygmy Hedgehog's playpen since she likes to explore and hide in small spaces. While she enjoyed running through this, the sharp edges of the plastic tunnel cut her foot. The tunnel is just a segment of crinkle tubing that has been haphazardly cut. I really like that I could make it into whatever shape I wanted, but I cannot give it a high rating since the edges are hazardous to small feet. Other small critters with tougher feet might do just fine with this, but use caution if purchasing this for a hedgehog because their feet are very sensitive! Fortunately, I caught the injury quickly and took care of my girl, but injured hedgie feet sometimes need to be amputated if wounds are not tended promptly. I will be returning and trying a tube made of fabric instead. ... show more
