  • Very good for my Guinea Pigs.
Color: Grey
This product is very good for my Guinea Pigs, it's a lot bigger than most normal cages on Amazon and in Pet Stores. I have a list of Pros and Cons below, have a look. PROS Very spacious (you still need to let your piggies or rabbits run around outside of the hutch for exercise.) Overall assembly was pretty easy and I was able to put it all together quickly. The hutch has 3 removable trays that you just take out to clean. The wire mesh on the hutch still works for most of the accessories for my piggies, you may have to stretch it out though. Has 2 floors which adds more space and the second floor has a door that you can close if you need to separate a piggie or separate for other reasons. The door locks are pretty good quality. CONS Very strong smell when you open the box, you absolutely need to open and leave outside for a while if you want to build it inside. Ramp is way to steep and slick for my piggies, I put it down to the lowest I could and wrapped it in rubber shelf liner and it works well. Trays are too shallow, you need to put the absolute smallest layer of seeder down or you can't take the trays out because the seeder will clump at the end of the tray. Gaps between the trays and walls, this leads to seeder getting stuck to the side walls, and pee and poo dripping down to the lower level and the floor. Seeder come flying out of the wire mesh when my piggies run, yep when my piggies run their seeder come flying out of the hutch, best to put plexiglass or something of the like so that stops that issue. Way to dark, it's dark on the top and bottom floors you really can't see your piggies, so I added super cheap led light strips to the top of each section and that helps and looks amazing. Lock for the large section with the ramp is cheap plastic, I just used it for the door on the top floor so I can lock it during cleaning. Conclusion It's not a very bad hutch, but there most definitely are problems that can be fixed really easily without spending a lot more. I do hope that this helps at least a little bit. I will say again, make sure you open the box outside and let it air out, the smell is insane. ... show more

  • You’ll be glad you got it
Color: Grey
If you are on the fence about buying this due to negative reviews, let me tell you, this is an incredible hutch. The smell? It’s cedar. It isn’t bad, it’s quite pleasant but it does arrive out of box strong. I let it breathe overnight before I put it together the next day and it definitely had subsided. Regardless, it isn’t a bad smell as it softens. I promise it isn’t flimsy, it’s sturdy put together and doesn’t flex at all. I used clamps to keep it aligned piece by piece as I drilled shallow pilot holes in all of the areas that required screws, and I used a second drill to add my screws. I would imagine the reviews stated wood splitting and/or coming together crooked is user error: rushing, using a manual screwdriver and not making pilot holes as guides. If you’re handy, have skills/proper tools and understand patience creates quality, you will be impressed with the final product. I am going to secure a piece of MDF board to go over the top of the large lift-up lid because I have cats and the screen will NOT hold up to the weight of a cat, but that is my only personal concern that can easily be remedied while still looking nice. I recommend this hutch if you are unsure, and you know you’ll take your time assembling it with the right tools. All of the panels line up perfectly, the trays go in and out smoothly, and the end result looks very clean and nice. I really really like it and I am very happy I bought it. ... show more

  • Just buy it! Worth it! Just buy it! Worth it!
Color: Grey
I received this on 9/9/25 and wanted to submit a decent review since I was so hesitant and kept it in my cart forever b4 purchasing it! If you were like me...Go for it! However few things to keep in mind, even though I purchased it for $100, it cost $60 for shipping! The setup was fairly easy after I ordered the pieces A-Z. This cage is extremely cheaply made! The quality was even funnier at best! However, I knew going in it wasn't going to be made with top notch wood. You get what you pay for. The corners were not the least bit aligned. Looks like my 10 year built it. Maybe its bc my husband is a woodworker? So my expectations might be a little higher. But it works extremely well for our 2 guinea pigs! They each have their own little space to relax in and there are soo many access points! That's a positive and It's extremely easy to clean! Has 3 pull out drawers. I clean the top drawer first, then put them in the top part with the door shut to clean the 2 bottom drawers. Its perfect! Dump shavings, hay, poop, etc and a quick spray down with my hose and a quick dry and each drawer is done within 5 mins! This is heaven compared to other cages! Some reviews discussed urine/feces coming out the sides of the drawer, I don't see how that happens because each drawer has a lip which I assume is to keep everything in. Others complained about their cages paint chipping off! That's exactly whats going to happen when you put animals that chew in or near wood! Especially since rabbits and guinea pigs are known for chewing! I just hope the manufacturing company doesn't use toxic paint! My piggies chewed instantly! Overall, I think it's a decent small animal cage with pros and cons! But it definitely does the job while looking cute and tidy! ... show more

  • Rio loves it Rio loves it
Color: Grey
My husband will say that for this enclosure it was worth the money spent. Rio is a great escape artist but after building I do feel like this time he won’t actually escape. (We will see just in case). The material used is pretty decent from the type of wood to the screw being of good quality. There was only one piece that came broken which was one of the trays but we patched it up and seems to be holding well (picture of broken piece). It is very spacious on the lower level and very cozy on the second which is great cause during the day he hides and sleep and at night is very very active so I do believe that the size is prefect for him as of right now. The gap on the gate are smaller then a dime size which gives me comfort that he won’t wiggle his way out. I will admit that I was concerned that maybe this wouldn’t work for our chinchilla but to my surprise it’s actually really nice. When you get the box ideally one person can carry it but after building unless you put wheels on it it’s best to have two people move it. It did take us longer then an hour to build mostly because we used wood glue to make it strong and withhold rio active jumping. I would say that putting together was fairly easy they instructions can be a little confusing but if you just look forward a couple pictures it’s makes sense. If you ever seen ikea instructions they are about the same layout. Over all I am happy with my purchase. ... show more

  • Meh. Cheap china quality Meh. Cheap china quality
Color: Light Grey
Pros- 1• Lots of space for my big rabbit! I like that he can run around and stand on his hind legs without touching the top. He can sprawl out comfortably. 2• Easy to assemble. Took hubby and I less than an hour to put together. Cons- 1• Very chewable... My rabbit already has one of the wooden bars on the inside floor destroyed within 2 days. Ramp is chewed also. 2• Cheap quality. It holds together but for $200 you'd think maybe it'd be a little better quality. It's functional, but cheap china crap quality. 3• The plastic trays arrived without cracks, but the edges where it's supposed to be glued to the wood, are coming apart and not sturdy. 4• A bit of a gap between slideable tray and frame of cage, so if bun sticks his butt up against the side to do his business it's going all over the wall/floor. 5• Latches are plastic designed to look like brass metal... Not great quality either. 6• The two top sides open, but I feel like when I lift them up the hinges might come out or crack the wood. Cheap quality. 7• The "wire" sides are very flimsy. Afraid my hay feeders might pull the staples out holding the wire up or break the wire. Forget the water bottle. Overall- Works fine for my bun now that I got it. Enjoy the space and I'll use it til it can't be used anymore. Unfortunately I don't think that'll be too long. Definitely not built to hold up. ... show more

  • Great cage — for my hamster!
Color: Grey
I can not imagine keeping a rabbit in such a cage. It is too small and flimsy. Rabbits need the space of a dog or cat, anyhow. But for my hamster — it is excellent. My little guy loves the “nest box” to burrow in and it is an airy and pleasant dwelling for him. He isn’t interested in chewing the wood. A few pieces of the cage arrived splintered/chipped but not too badly. The box was sagging apart when it arrived. I assembled it by myself with a power drill and it took me about an hour and a half. You can do it with a screwdriver but it will take a lot longer. I appreciated the clear directions and extra screws. It was not frustrating at all. I spot clean my hamster and he mostly pees in his sand so cleaning isn’t a big deal. I like how the top lifts up as well. All the doors and the airiness are pleasant for my little guy. There is plenty of room for huts and hay tunnels and such and he also has that great upstairs to go into if he wants a darker place to burrow. For those of us who want a hamster enclosure of a proper size, this is a great hack. I do not recommend it for anything bigger. ... show more

  • My bunns love their house My bunns love their house
Color: Grey
I bought this for my two bunns about 8 months ago and its been great. They do not LIVE in it, its more like their own little house they can go in to sleep or want some privacy, but the doors and top are always open. It is pretty spacious in there, but I wouldn't use any hutch as a full time living space. It was really easy to put together, I did have to redo a few steps because I wasn't paying attention to what I was screwing together, but it was a pretty quick build. I love how easy it is to pull all of the bottoms out when I want to do a deep clean. The fact that it rolls is also a big plus, I just scoot it around to clean under/around or if I want to rearrange their space. The wiring is a little thin, so you wouldn't want to try to hang a bed or climbing blocks on it, but its perfect for hanging little toys or chews that aren't too heavy. The price is really reasonable too, there are definitely others that aren't as nice, and much pricier. I would definitely recommend to bunn owners who are looking for something nice on a budget. Our bunns love it and one of our cats likes to hang out in there too. Great purchase for a little home-base, but again, would not recommend using ANY hutch as a full-time living space, bunns need way more room to stretch their legs and run around. 😊🐰🍍 ... show more

  • Might be better for a Rabbit. Might be better for a Rabbit.
Color: Brown
My 2 guinea pigs LOVE this hutch, but I’m less of a fan. I’ve had this for about a month now and here’s my honest review. I would not exactly recommend this for guinea pigs, but it would be a fine option for one guinea pig or two small guinea pigs. Ultimately, I chose this as a safe and cheap full enclosure for my guinea pigs. My guys are pretty big at 1 and I can tell we’re going to need to upgrade sooner than I would have liked. It’s cozy though, especially the little hutch at the top. It has a nice look and the wheels help make it mobile. The trays are amazing for cleanup, though I do have issues with mess under the cage when I clean, some mess falls through. I use fleece bedding instead of shavings so there is less mess with that. Noodle bath mats have been perfect for covering the bottom! The trays are easy to wipe down with vinegar and water but they do stain a bit from the urine. Use lots of bedding and protection! A few things I didn’t think about as a new owner; This thing is a massive chew toy for guinea pigs. Especially if your pigs are chewers, the quality wears down fast. Also, the ramp is a little steep, and the wood is slippery. I had a lot of success putting anti-slip tape on the ramp for easier use. This thing is definitely smelly when you first open it. It smells like it was weather treated, which isn’t great since they chew so much. Airing it out for a few days is definitely advisable. When building, 2 people are best, though I was able to do it mostly on my own. A drill is absolutely recommended. You don’t NEED one, but you should definitely have one. This has done its job for the most part. For us it’s a temporary money conscious enclosure for the piggies in a house with cats. ... show more
