My bunny loves his cage and everyone that has seen it has complimented it!I didn't think it was easy to put together! It said 45 min! It took me 13 hrs of doing it non stop but I had fun! Now I'll say I'm not very good at this kind of thing and there are people who think putting jet engines together is easy so I don't know!But it's nice, everyone likes it and pretty sure by how he acts that the bunny loves it Easy to assemble and clean not as sturdy as i would it to be but it works. I painted mine because dark grey is not my thing. I used this for a habitat for our adult bearded dragon. We added reptile carpet to the plastic slide out bottom. It works perfect and gives our lizard so much more room. She climbs all over the cage. We love it. This hutch is well designed! Very sturdy with an asphalt roof! Our Russian Tortoise loves it!! This has been the highlight to our fur baby Prince Archie’s life. I am very pleased with the design, components and over all look of this item. I bought this for my two bunns about 8 months ago and its been great. They do not LIVE in it, its more like their own little house they can go in to sleep or want some privacy, but the doors and top are always open. It is pretty spacious in there, but I wouldn't use any hutch as a full time living space. It was really easy to put together, I did have to redo a few steps because I wasn't paying attention to what I was screwing together, but it was a pretty quick build. I love how easy it is to pull all of the bottoms out when I want to do a deep clean. The fact that it rolls is also a big plus, I just scoot it around to clean under/around or if I want to rearrange their space. The wiring is a little thin, so you wouldn't want to try to hang a bed or climbing blocks on it, but its perfect for hanging little toys or chews that aren't too heavy. The price is really reasonable too, there are definitely others that aren't as nice, and much pricier. I would definitely recommend to bunn owners who are looking for something nice on a budget. Our bunns love it and one of our cats likes to hang out in there too. Great purchase for a little home-base, but again, would not recommend using ANY hutch as a full-time living space, bunns need way more room to stretch their legs and run around. 😊🐰🍍 ... show more

    • Very good for my Guinea Pigs.

This product is very good for my Guinea Pigs, it's a lot bigger than most normal cages on Amazon and in Pet Stores. I have a list of Pros and Cons below, have a look. PROS Very spacious (you still need to let your piggies or rabbits run around outside of the hutch for exercise.) Overall assembly was pretty easy and I was able to put it all together quickly. The hutch has 3 removable trays that you just take out to clean. The wire mesh on the hutch still works for most of the accessories for my piggies, you may have to stretch it out though. Has 2 floors which adds more space and the second floor has a door that you can close if you need to separate a piggie or separate for other reasons. The door locks are pretty good quality. CONS Very strong smell when you open the box, you absolutely need to open and leave outside for a while if you want to build it inside. Ramp is way to steep and slick for my piggies, I put it down to the lowest I could and wrapped it in rubber shelf liner and it works well. Trays are too shallow, you need to put the absolute smallest layer of seeder down or you can't take the trays out because the seeder will clump at the end of the tray. Gaps between the trays and walls, this leads to seeder getting stuck to the side walls, and pee and poo dripping down to the lower level and the floor. Seeder come flying out of the wire mesh when my piggies run, yep when my piggies run their seeder come flying out of the hutch, best to put plexiglass or something of the like so that stops that issue. Way to dark, it's dark on the top and bottom floors you really can't see your piggies, so I added super cheap led light strips to the top of each section and that helps and looks amazing. Lock for the large section with the ramp is cheap plastic, I just used it for the door on the top floor so I can lock it during cleaning. Conclusion It's not a very bad hutch, but there most definitely are problems that can be fixed really easily without spending a lot more. I do hope that this helps at least a little bit. I will say again, make sure you open the box outside and let it air out, the smell is insane. ... show more

We purchased this house for our 3-pound mini rex, RuPaul. Our pic should give you a good idea of how small this enclosure really is. The seller photos definitely make it look bigger than it is. It's not tiny, but it's not huge, either. I personally wouldn't put more than one rabbit in it and nothing bigger than a mini. The good: - It is very easy to put together. I did it myself and could have done it a lot faster if I'd used the drill with the screwdriver bit. As it was, doing it by hand didn't take all that long. - It is relatively spacious, though I wish the bottom left "room" was taller. - I like how there are private areas and open areas. - The ramp is sturdy and the angle of the ramp doesn't feel dangerous like it does on some other enclosures. - The plastic trays are easy to slide in and out, though we don't use bedding so I can't speak to whether it gets everywhere when you pull out the trays. - There is space for a small litter box. The bad: - This house is made out of very soft wood so a major chewer could probably reduce it to shreds in a pretty short time. Our bun nibbles at it but hasn't made a project out of shredding it... so far, so good. - The wheels did not want to screw in, per the instructions. We just left them off. - Overall, it could be more substantial. The wood is very soft, the wire is very thin, and the whole thing feels cheap. Our bun is chill and spends time outside her house, so it's NBD. A more active bun might destroy this enclosure. - The slanted roof is just pointless because no one in their right mind is putting this outside (the open drawer would fill with water the first time it rained). A higher flat roof on the left hand side would be better. Overall, I would recommend this for one small indoor bunny who is chill enough not to try to eat its way out. ... show more

Yes, this pen is small. Pay attention to the measurements listed on the description as the animals seem to be superimposed and not an accurate representation of size. That being said, it is perfect for my pair of mini (duccle) disabled chickens and is a perfect size for an indoor coop. I will need to add a roosting bar and small nest box but otherwise the indoor and outdoor space is pretty sufficient, especially since they will not live in here full time. It would be a good cage for a small rabbit, a couple guinea pigs, or a pair of mini chickens, but again, I'd hope anything kept in here is able to get out and move around more at times. It was super easy to put together. It recommended 2 people and 45 minutes, but I put it together myself in under half an hour and only needed a third hand to screw the ramp on. I only have two "complaints"/suggestions. The wood is quite soft and while it will work well indoors, I'm going to treat it with something before leaving it out in the weather very long. I also imagine it would absorb urine odors, as there are some small gaps at the edges the plastic pull-out coop bottom. The other is that It would be nice if the roof was hinged to allow easier access/cleaning to the interior part. I may just rig it up to make the whole roof part removable.     • Great hutch w a few issues.

This is a nice rabbit habitat. We have 2 rabbits that we keep in the home and this works out nicely for them. I am giving 5 stars but there is a few issues that could be designed better. First, proper drilling for the screws in a few places. The latches you put on the doors in like step 2 have no holes so you either have to drill your own or power thru it with the screws (that was my technique). And the holes for the roof did not go thru the roofing material so you need to drill that part out as well. Second, the feeder you mount should not go on the back wall. It is a pain to use. Last thing, the trays have nothing to stop them when you push them in so they will go all the way thru. This tends to cause an issue where the rabbits playing around will inch the tray out. For what we are using it for I would highly recommend it. I would not use this as an outside hutch though. I don't think it would hold up well in weather. ... show more

Pros- 1• Lots of space for my big rabbit! I like that he can run around and stand on his hind legs without touching the top. He can sprawl out comfortably. 2• Easy to assemble. Took hubby and I less than an hour to put together. Cons- 1• Very chewable... My rabbit already has one of the wooden bars on the inside floor destroyed within 2 days. Ramp is chewed also. 2• Cheap quality. It holds together but for $200 you'd think maybe it'd be a little better quality. It's functional, but cheap china crap quality. 3• The plastic trays arrived without cracks, but the edges where it's supposed to be glued to the wood, are coming apart and not sturdy. 4• A bit of a gap between slideable tray and frame of cage, so if bun sticks his butt up against the side to do his business it's going all over the wall/floor. 5• Latches are plastic designed to look like brass metal... Not great quality either. 6• The two top sides open, but I feel like when I lift them up the hinges might come out or crack the wood. Cheap quality. 7• The "wire" sides are very flimsy. Afraid my hay feeders might pull the staples out holding the wire up or break the wire. Forget the water bottle. Overall- Works fine for my bun now that I got it. Enjoy the space and I'll use it til it can't be used anymore. Unfortunately I don't think that'll be too long. Definitely not built to hold up. ... show more

My husband will say that for this enclosure it was worth the money spent. Rio is a great escape artist but after building I do feel like this time he won’t actually escape. (We will see just in case). The material used is pretty decent from the type of wood to the screw being of good quality. There was only one piece that came broken which was one of the trays but we patched it up and seems to be holding well (picture of broken piece). It is very spacious on the lower level and very cozy on the second which is great cause during the day he hides and sleep and at night is very very active so I do believe that the size is prefect for him as of right now. The gap on the gate are smaller then a dime size which gives me comfort that he won’t wiggle his way out. I will admit that I was concerned that maybe this wouldn’t work for our chinchilla but to my surprise it’s actually really nice. When you get the box ideally one person can carry it but after building unless you put wheels on it it’s best to have two people move it. It did take us longer then an hour to build mostly because we used wood glue to make it strong and withhold rio active jumping. I would say that putting together was fairly easy they instructions can be a little confusing but if you just look forward a couple pictures it’s makes sense. If you ever seen ikea instructions they are about the same layout. Over all I am happy with my purchase. ... show more

Was excited to get this hutch for my bunnies. Easy to put together for the most part as long as pieces and screw holes line up. Many pieces were whorped. Gap in the roof, the drawer that hold the pee pan wouldn’t go in evenly. It’s very cheap wood, and a few pieces were split/ needed wood glue. But what really irritated me was the fact they say this cage doesn’t leak pee ect. And it’s easy to pull the wire bottom out to clean. That’s a lie, you have to screw the bottom wire floor in all the way around to help keep the cage level. Those PVC BLACK MATS ARE GARBAGE! They leak pee under the wood bottom frame as well as underneath them. They say this hutch is indoor / outdoor. It’s definitely not made for indoors period. I got it for inside my house. I don’t house my bunnies outside at all ever. So with that being said I had pee on my wood floors under the black mat as well as it leaked outside of the cage as well. This is very upsetting. Thank goodness I clean my bunnies living area everyday, and I’m glad because my wood floor would have been ruined due to there false advertising on this cage. Thank goodness I didn’t have it on carpet. The wood under around the cage is already ruined with pee soaked up in it. When contacting the company and expressing I. A very nice way all the issues I was dealing with in less then 12 hours of having this was very stressful personally. They didn’t want the hutch back. They really wanted me to keep it as well as just give me back $20 to make adjustments. If you want a indoor hutch keep looking cause this isn’t worth it.
