Description

We bought this rabbit hutch for our girl, and she settled in right away. The lower run gives her space for meals and stretching out, while the enclosed upper room gives her a quieter place to rest. For one rabbit, the size has worked well in our indoor setup, and the wire panels make it easy to check on her. We bought this hutch after getting tired of raising chicks in a tub in the garage. The enclosed upper section, open run, and multiple access doors made feeding and cleanup more convenient. Before moving it outside, we painted it to match our flock, and it turned into a charming little home for our growing chicks. We placed the hutch on a washable mat since the lower run is open-bottom, then added our own fleece, hideout, hay feeder, and dishes. The two-level layout gives our guinea pigs separate places to eat, explore, and settle down, while the front access doors make everyday feeding and cleanup much easier. The ramp connects the lower run to the enclosed upper room, giving our guinea pigs more ways to move around during the day. Some stay near the hay and hideout below while another heads upstairs for a quieter spot. It’s fun watching each one choose a favorite part of the hutch. The translucent roof panel lets light into the lower run while still covering the space above. It makes the inside feel brighter and gives us an easy way to look down and check the setup. Perfect enclosure for my sons two rabbits! Rabbits were inside, and due to needing space in the house needed a suitable home for them outside. We did invest in a pin so that they could come outside and actually run but the house is perfect and they are able to get out of the elements.

I bought this for my chicks! I got so tired of raising chicks in a tub in my garage and this has been the perfect solution!! It’s pretty decent quality and has already held up beautifully in storms. The first hutch came with a few cracks in the wood, but it was fine. The second one had broken pieces in the box. The hutch is usable and the bunnies seem to love them. The many doors makes it much easier to clean.

Received half built. The pieces that were prebuilt-about 2 of them were already cracked from the screws because of how cheap and flimsy the "wood" is. One piece was the main attachment of the upper area that the ladder was supposed to screw into so she can go up and down it.. well it was so cracked that when we went to apply the ladder it completely cracked which made the ladder completely unusable. I reached out to the seller right away about it and there was nothing that could be done- they weren't able to send replacement parts because it is sold as a "whole set" and wouldn't refund or send me a new one. Instead they sent me a list of things that would be "safe" to apply to keep it attached and I think like $30 refund- the cage itself was on sale for "$120" I am not comfortable with applying glue- she is a rabbit and not risking her poisoning herself from It so ended up not using it at all. It's pretty small too even for a dwarf bunny- it seems like she would need a second attachment. And FYI if you're handy with building things these things aren't too hard and wayyyy less money to build yourself. Also the upstairs that you pull in and out For hay/grass gets stuck a lot. Here it is about 1 month later and I give it like 3 more Months tops before it's garbage. And she's like a 3lb bunny. ... show more

Does not have a floor. I couldn't find in the description if it did or not. Otherwise the construction is better than expected and installation would be simple for inexperienced builders minus the labeling and confirming of the materials in the directions (most will likely be able to figure it out). The latches are easy to install (for newer builders make sure to set up both sides of the latch before you drill them in place). Works well for a New Zealand although the top room's ramp hole I was adjusted to accommodate easier access for his size and age. ... show more
