    • Great way to extend the dishwasher's life
Like many others, this was the better alternative to having to buy a new, costly dishwasher rack for an aging dishwasher. Other than the rack, it works beautifully. Luckily I caught the rusting in time to do something meaningful with it. I borrowed my neighbor's Dremel and sanded down the tines and other areas that were affected. Then, as the instructions advise, I prepped the areas by cleaning with rubbing alcohol. Then, I applied a drop to each tine before applying the cap. In addition, I coated the other areas as instructed. So far it's been through maybe 12 washes and all looks great. Will update in a year. ... show more

    • Working So Far
I spent 2 weeks prepping the dishwasher racks (removing corrosion & rust.) So, applying the Goop was relatively easy. I ordered light gray Goop. It is more off white than gray. So, the color doesn't come close to matching the racks themselves. I glued all 121 tine tips on. So far, none have come off. Two new racks for my dishwasher would have cost over $400!     • Great Product, Dishwasher looks like new
Very easy to use. Adhesive works well and our dishwasher looks like new. We just moved into this home and I thought I would have to replace the dishwasher because of how badly the interior looked. This product quickly solved the problem for a small sum of money.

I used this on my old dishwasher also and it kept the rusty rack from further disintegrating for many years. I ordered this for my current dishwasher when I started to notice a little rust on the top of the separators. The liquid (which CAN also be used alone on rusty spots) is used to glue the caps in place. So don't plan on using just the caps or you will be constantly fishing them off the bottom of the dishwasher after a wash cycle. ... show more

    • It’s stinky but so easy to do!
I have washed quite a few times now. The tips and the repairs I made stayed put. Highly recommend. I also used a different color so I could easily tell where my repairs were. So far so good!

    • Good stuff
I probably should rate it higher because it does the job well. Relatively easy to use and the finished product looks pretty decent but it is an obvious repair. The caps give it away. But they matched up well and it is a good choice and I'd do it again. But next time I might have to replace the rack.
