Easy to use, and worked great to fix the unsightly areas of my Bosch dishwasher rack which had wear spots from normal wear/tear use. Two coats and perfect. Only problem is I purchased dark grey, but seems the rack is a lighter grey. Does not match exactly, but looks fine and better than the wear spots. Expensive for what it is…but repair is holding up well at the 30 day point. NO COMPLAINTS. I bought the version without the tips….worked fine to just dip the tines in the bottle.     • Easy Fix!
This stuff is Goop, but it is amazing! Quickly dries to a rock hard finish. Matches well with my the paint color of my LG dishwasher. If you have a Dremel tool, the wire fan-like brush helps to easily remove rusted areas. I wish I bought this sooner!

    • Worked well, see how long it lasts
Had a piece that was rusting. Cut it off so there would be no rust left behind. Also had a few small spots so I sanded those down so no rust was present. Applied as directed. Now we will see how long it lasts. I think some see quick failure due to applying over rust. That doesn’t work anytime you’re dealing with rust. It will bubble back or get worse underneath ... show more

    • Saved my dishwasher racks
My dishwasher racks, both top and bottom, had numerous areas of rust damage. Many of the dish separators showed rust damage at the welds. Some of the structural rails were eaten all the way through. When I cleaned out the food chopper, I found a lot of rust chips and a damaged chopper blade, perhaps caused by the rust chips themselves. After repairing the food chopper, and pricing new racks at about $350, I bought a couple of bottles of this rack coating and a set of caps. I removed the loose rust and cut back the rack members to the bare metal, and then gave all of the wounded areas three coats of the glue. I capped all of the disk separators using the glue to secure the caps. After 24 hours of drying, I replaced the racks. It has been more than a month with daily use, and the racks are holding up well with no new rust damage. Even if additional rust blooms appear, I can keep on top of them with this product. Saved me lots of $, as well as keeping rust out of the dishwasher plumbing. ... show more

    • Rack purchase averted!
I wasn't looking forward to a new rack purchase when I discovered some badly rusted tines on my dishwasher. I had no indication from above, but when one tine was discovered leaning and wobbly I took the rack out and turned it over. There was extensive rust on the bottom of several tines and and rusty patches started on the framework. I was afraid I was going to have to clip some of the tines off completely. Instead, I ordered Uber Goop and a pack of tine covers. I slit the tine covers open and used them as "casts" at the bottom of the tines where the rust was, and sealed it all up with the Uber Goop. I put several coats of the Goop on the other areas that were pitted badly. After a year the tines are holding strong and straight and there is no indication of further rusting. My 16 year old dishwasher has a new lease on life. ... show more
