When excessively high temperatures cause it to overheat, it automatically shuts off. The charger’s system waits until after it returns to a normal temperature to start charging again, which can prevent it from catching fire. Other brands’ electric car chargers lack this feature. This charger’s functions are very powerful, and its LCD screen displays many detailed types of data while it’s charging. It also has a button you can press to change the size of its current. This charger’s practical accessories and a hook for its charging cord can enable you to hang it on the wall. Without this hook, this cord would get damaged and look tangled if it lies on the ground for a long period of time. He safety tested this charger, and the results indicated that it was extremely safe without posing any potential risks. Therefore, I felt comfortable about purchasing this product. After using it for a while, the outcome was just like he said, as it didn’t have any safety risks. •Low Price - This ev charger price was what enticed me to buy it. Another portable charger that I previously bought cost 350 dollars, but it didn’t have a digital display. However, this charger had many functions and was extremely cost-effective. •LCD Screen - This charger has a LCD screen that displays important data such as set rated current, real-time voltage, electricity recharged, charging time, charging status, temperature inside the control box, charging power, real-time current, and appointment time, which helped me to more intuitively understand my car’s charging status. •Charger Features - I saw in the manual that this charger has overcurrent protection, over-heat protection, undervoltage protection, overvoltage protection, current-leakage protection, lightning protection, automatic power-off, I feel very relaxed when using this charger. •Suitable for home use and travel use - The manufacturer also specifically added a NEMA 5-15P to NEMA 14-50R adapter to this charger.     • Decent charger for my EV6 Wind AWD
I wired up a 40amp circuit for this and used the included, industrial grade, NEMA14-50 outlet. So far its worked well. I've noticed the circuit stays cool, and the plug does as well. The NEMA 14-50 pigtail, J1772 cord, and breaker feel warm to the touch, but never uncomfortably hot when charging at 32amp. The device remembers its amp setting when powered off and includes lots of nice extras like a mounting box, NEMA 14-50 outlet, cable manager, and a 14-50 to 5-15 adapter cable. I bought one for semi-permanent installation in my garage and threw one in my frunk for on the road emergencies. For the price, I think it's a really good deal. ... show more
