I really dislike getting the flu because I go deaf till I'm well again. People talking but no sound, watching random videos on my tablet and the volume is 100% so I can hear it instead of usual around 40-50% volume. Tired of being sick and "deaf" so I gave in and bought these hearing aids because they're affordable and comes in a 2 packs. OH MY GOODNESS EVERYTHING IS SO LOUD! My dad is 72 and has lost almost all of his hearing, so at night when my parents watch tv he needs it so loud my mom gets a headache. We decided to purchase this for him, and I tried it out before giving it to him to check the quality. If you’re going to sit sit and not move a single muscle, this will pick up every sound in the room, but it picks up more background noise than the actual TV. My father has a habit of laying down to watch TV at night on the couch, so if he were to do that and move ever so slightly, he would hear the Most obnoxious static or high-pitched ringing from the device, picking up noise from the pillow. I decided to return it without telling him I even tried it. I sent it back and 100% do not recommend this thing.

These are the only sound aphafiers we've found that work for my father. Have bought and returned 3 others. Thank goodness found more of this brand. Couldn't get others to stay in his ears.

I got this thinking it could replace my hearing aid output for when the battery runs out. It was easy to assemble and easy to charge. But it does not get very loud, and feels very bulky on my ear. Quality feels cheap, but you get what you pay for since the price is so cheap. If you suffer from severe hearing loss, save your money for something with better quality.
