I wanted a quality bench that didn't take up much space and was affordable under $100... I also wanted the colors to look good... this Merach fit the bill and I got it on sale and it seemed to meet all my requirements. When I received it, I was excited and the quality was great for the price, imo. The only thing that I don't like about this bench is the adjustment of the back and seat. The knobs under the back and seat need to be unscrewed and then pulled out, which doesn't allow quick adjustments. I thought it was no big deal but for some reason the seat knob is very difficult to unscrew and screw in, I'm not sure if I got a defective or cross threaded knob, but I read some other reviews that mentioned something about the adjustment knobs. The back rest adjustment knob works fine and is smooth. The size is also good and folds up nicely, although it doesn't take up too much space when upright. It neatly folds and slides under my 18inch bed frame. I am debating returning it, keeping it or exchanging it. I got it on sale for under a hundred bucks with tax, and I do like it but the knobs are annoying to adjust quickly. I may reach out to the manufacturer to see if they can send me a replacement knob. Try it out for yourself, I think it's a decent bench for the price, build quality, colors, and how compact it is. If they can make the knobs a push and pull pin type or anything easier than what it is, it would be perfect. Edit: Customer Service is excellent, they reached out and fixed the issues I was having. Changing from 3 stars to 5 stars.

This is a very good workout bench and is easy to assemble. I hesitate to compare it to my previous bench, (Flybird), because every bench is slightly different. This one is a little lower to the ground and the fold is not as compact, mainly it is longer when folded than my previous bench. I have used it for a week and the bench is secure and easy to adjust throughout my workouts. The quality is good and the back and seat seem to be strong. My previous bench had issues with the rubber feet which did not hold up very well. The upholstery work on this bench seems better and the inner board seems firmer. The shin brace is not easy to use and will take time to adjust to. The simple foam pads do not seem to match the quality of the bench itself. Could have been a 5 if not for the shin brace.

Better than expected! The unit is super sturdy and seems to be of solid construction. It is versatile in its positioning and the folding away for space saving is great! The headrest extension really works well for us taller people too. Assembly was also easy and straightforward taking around 10 minutes. Definitely recommend!

This is a really good strong bench that I love using, however to adjust the incline you have to completely unscrew the knob and then move the bench and then put the knob back into the slot that’s indicated and screw it all the way back in. There are others on a spring mechanism that are much easier to use so this does take a little longer and it’s a little more difficult for me to bend down to unscrew the knob and adjust it. For most people this wouldn’t be much of a problem unfortunately my knee is broken and permanently damaged so it is difficult for me to do
