I cannot say enough good things about this litter box. I have a kitten who LOVES her litter box, so much so she plays in it. She hates enclosed/covered litterboxes, will refuse to use the door. I've always had to use a open litter box but she was constantly throwing litter everywhere and it was becoming a smell problem too. I was doing some research and came across this unique litter box. What really caught my interest was the second opening allowing access from the top. I came across the smaller version first then saw the upgraded version and became very interested. I was a bit hesitant at the price, in the beginning. However, it did come with quite a few additions, and ultimately I made the decision it was worth it and purchased it. I was extremely excited, and once the product arrived it has not disappointed. Super easy installation, came pre-assembled and you just popped everything together. Then the top secured everything in place. Once in place, my kitten, with her curiosity began to investigate. I showed her how to use the door, which she wasn't interested in. Immediately she jumped on the top and realized she could access it, and from there she has been in love. It's her favorite thing to jump in and out of the litter box. It has decreased the amount of litter spread around by 98%. There's no longer a smell, and the pull out tray makes it super easy for cleaning! I love it. I only have 2 things that are non-problematic, however, they definitely should be mentioned. First, the design of the litter scoop, it's way to small and plastic is way to thick. I does not glide smoothly, I've resorted to using my old one, no big deal. Second, the clasp for allowing the door to swing back and forth, it was very difficult to remove and once it was out, I struggled putting it on. I have it removed completely to allow the door to swing freely. These 2 minor issues definitely are not worth losing a star, this product is truly awesome.

I have 2 kittens about 7 weeks old. They had a tiny temporary litter box that I made out of a plastic serving dish. It was perfect for when they were being weened. But they quickly outgrew the temporary box. They would get litter all over the bathroom and it was constantly getting tracked all over my bedroom. I had to constantly sweep up the mess. So when looking into litter boxes, I wanted one that was more enclosed with a door and one that wasn't ugly. This one is massive, I bought the upgraded version because the prior one had complaints about leakage and this one emphasized on fixing the solution by having larger overlapping edges on the inside to reduce the chance of leakage. That part does work well, the only part that had the potential to leak was where the 4 walls of the top portion, meet eachother. There's a slight gap and I could see how it could have the chance to leak. So immediately after setting it up, I ran Duct tape along those edge, like in the example of the photo I provided, and this resolved the concern. I've had no cat litter leak out since placing the new litter box in the bathroom and using the tape on the edges. This box is meant for larger cats, but it's working just fine with 7 week old kittens. They are at the age that they can barely (hard core struggle doing it) be able to jump out of the top hole. The door is initially setup as a one way door, I left it locked like that and stayed with the kittens to teach them to jump out of the top and it worked. They were stuck there for a little confused but I coaxed them out of the top by dangling a toy at the entrance of the hole on the top, and they eventually got the message and figured it out. But until they get a little bigger, I removed the small slide in clip below the door to allow it to swing both ways. There were complaints about it being too shallow, I'm assuming they are talking about the old version, the upgraded one has a large capacity for litter and had not been an issue even with two kittens. It's also large enough for them to grow into so it's future proofed. The design is relatively nice, it's not very discreet but at least it looks better than the basic litter boxes out there. The design helps reduce the smell of the litter. Even though I cleaned the old box daily, it would always stink up the bathroom immediately after the first use. This walled in design helps reduce the smell for escaping especially with the ability to hold more litter than my previous box. It did come with a matt that looks like it would work well, but with having terrazzo floors, the rubberized portion to make the matt nonslip, will stain natural stone floors. This is just an issue for people will natural stone floors, one that if you have the floors, you are already aware of how limited you are on being able to use anything with rubber. So it would be nice to see an option that doesn't have the rubber on the bottom of the matt so anyone is able to use the matt. But if you have marble or terrazo floors, be aware the matt will stain your floors because the stone will naturally pull out the chemicals in rubber. But because that is solely an issue of having natural stone flooring and not an actual issue with the product, I still give this 5 stars and would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a new litter box.

January 2, 2026: I ended up getting litter box enclosures that double as a cat tree and furniture, so I no longer use this. I much prefer the liter box enclosures multi use furniture tbh so I likely won't use this again. July 24, 2025: I was skeptical of the efficacy of this item based on some of the reviews I've seen, and I am aware that my kitten is young (5 months) and small so while this works now, things may change as she grows into an adult cat. Currently, I love this. My cat throws litter around like it's a competition, and because I'm still socializing her, I've been keeping her in my bathroom and due to the lack of space, litter was getting in her food and water when she participate in the Nightly Cat Olympics. I got this hoping it would ease the disaster of litter I'd wake up to every day, and I'm happy to say so far it's doing a great job. I haven't noticed any leakage issues, and it really does keep the litter contained. It was easy to put today, and the pill out drawer concept is top tier. The size and height are perfect for what I needed. The only thing I'd change is to add some kind of slope on the sides so the litter doesn't sit there. I end up having to bang the litter box all over to get the litter to fall back into the entire tray. It also doesn't stop the smell as much but that's alright. I'll take no litter everywhere over no smell

Where do I start. I was hesitant to purchase because it was more than I wanted to spend, but I'm glad I did. It was fairly easy to set up and it fits perfectly in my laundry room. I love the mat because it traps any excess litter off or my cats paws. the one way door really helps to eliminate the litter from spilling out. My cat was confused about exiting at the top at first, but quickly figured it out. Now let's talk smell. I am super sensitive to smells, but I very rarely EVER smell an odor. I do tend to check often and clean it out right away, but when I come home from work I hardly ever smell it. I have always dreded cleaning the liter box but the pull out design of the drawer is SOOOO nice. It is definitely worth buying! It is functional, easy to clean, pretty compact, and keeps odors at bay. Not to mention it is also stylish. I give it 5 stars.

This is my second litter box in the house and honestly it's a great back up litterbox in a separate room in case my cat needs to go to the bathroom. However she doesn't like to enter it through the little kitty door but loves to go in the square hole in the top of it. I do have to say though the litter does get caught on the sides of the box and it's lesser litter needed for the box so that's why I thought it be good backup box for my cat. I also love how most of the litter stays inside the box(my cat is known for kicking out a ton of litter without a fully closed box). The only time litter gets out is when she jumps out of the top of it. Which my cat usually has a lot of energy and tends to do that. Other than that I'm satisfied with this being a second option for my cat to go to.

Update: I loved this at first but I'm not sure I do anymore. We have 2 of the "upgraded" boxes for our cats. It's easy to clean, but I have now found that somehow cat pee is getting under the box and onto the mat. There is even some behind the box on the mat. All I can think of is that this upgrade ledge thing doesn't completely help, and the way the cats pee it allowing it to sneak through the crack where the ledge and the drawer meet. I can't get it completely clean. These mats are difficult to clean once they have been peed on. I'm frustrated and don't want to keep wasting my money on trying new boxes but I'm at my wit's end. ‐‐------------ We have 3 cats and I think our older male cat was having some jealousy or even jist laziness and had started peeing over the edge of the regular litter boxes. If the box was inside our litter cabinet, the urine damages the wood. If the litterbox was moved into a shallow cardboard box, he peed inside that box. I found this enclosed box and bought the "upgrade" version, and I am so glad I did! He prefers this over the other boxes. I have the door propped open as I think the reflection was preventing cats from using it. Now he goes inside this box and has his head sticking out but he cannot make a mess while doing that so I haven't had to clean a pee puddle since we got this! It is easy to assemble, easy to clean, and does it's job. No complaints!

My old kitty box was large and covered, but every day I would walk into my bathroom and have .5 to1.0 cups of litter all over my floor. THIS kitty box is the best, unless you are willing to spend hundreds. All enclosed and exit at the top. :-) No more mess and easy to clean!

It’s a good litter box but be careful, since it comes apart if your cat likes to pee in the wall like mine does the pee will go all over the floor and you may accidentally run into a puddle!
